I call my wife "mom". :D

Thanks for the comments on the mugs. I think we will skip those.

I'm in the process of ordering water and snacks from Costco. Does anyone know the correct shipping address for WL?

LOL Okay I get it..I didn't at first!

This is how I address things I had shipped to WL:

Disney's Wilderness Lodge
Name on Reservation
Reservation #
Arriving On MM/DD/YYYY
901 Timberline Drive
Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830-1000

We had great luck with Costco for water on our last trip. :)

I'm planning a trip for next may with my parents and in-laws. We can't decide between one deluxe room or 3 separate rooms (not club level). I was wondering how comfortable the sofabeds in the deluxe rooms are as my husband and I will probably end up sleeping on it? Also is there enough room, for 6 adults luggage for a week in a deluxe room or will we tripping over suitcases?

We haven't been yet so take my advice with a grain of salt. We are going with my Mom in May and booked a deluxe room. I think that with 3 adults and 2 small children we will be just about all the room can handle. There is only one bathroom and I think that wouldn't be enough for 6 adults. I don't know how it compares cost-wise, but you could look into getting a 2 bedroom villa.

Thanks for the input. We were planning on booking a 2 bedroom villa, but as of this morning they are none available for the week we are wanting to go. The week encompasses our anniversary and my husbands birthday so we don't want to change weeks.

Thanks a lot for this info!!!

OK, I'm going to request an inner courtyard view but I'm torn between off the lobby, north wing (better for electric parade?), or south wing (better view of pool?). My kids are 3 and 6. We will spend a lot of time at the pool and going to the MK via the boat.

I am wondering about the same thing

....to my 'original' WL faithful:

I finally added another installment to my latest TR (it's regarding our dinner ADR's at WCC.....)

Hi everyone..it's been quite a while..but pretty soon I can officially say "next month we will be at WL" :cool1: I do have a question..I have late lunch ressies at WCC (2:30pm)..so that we can have a big meal right before we go and then plan on going up to our room to change into costumes and leave for MNSSHP, my question is, what time can you get in for the party? I have enough days on my passes that won't affect if I enter as a "non party" guest and stay until it starts..but my sisters will only have MNSSHP tickets. Thanks!

Hi everyone! It has been a couple of years since I stayed at WL, but I am staying there again for 1 night in November. Anyway, during that trip I used ME to get to the resort. This time I will have a rental car and we will be getting there late (midnight or so). So my question is, how simple is it to get to WL at night when you are driving? Normally, I find that the WDW property is signed pretty well and I don't have a problem. But if I remember correctly, you have to go through the MK toll booths and then take a road to the right. So how complicated is it?

That's as complicated as it gets. Go through the MK toll plaza taking the lane on the right next to the ones the Disney buses take to go to MK. Make sure you're in the extreme right hand lane (where the buses go) and go straight ahead until you come to the traffic lights. Turn right onto Timberline Drive and it takes you straight through the WL gates. Have a great time!!

Thank you! :yay:

I have question for those of you familiar with Wilderness.

We have a 9:30 HDDR ressie. Would it be possible to go over to see Chip and Dale at the campfire and still make it over to HDDR with enough time to spare?
(How far apart are they? How long is the campfire? How early do we really need to be at HHDR?)

Thanks in advance.

If Hanna hits while we're on vacation and they shut the parks down, does the WL usually set up fun and games around the resorts to keep the kiddos from driving their parents crazy?

After weeks of trying--we were able to switch to a 5:00 PM show.
So, nevermind Chip and Dale question. . .

I know about the concierge level suites but is there really a Micheal Jackson Suite since he visits(ed) so often?

Also where does that staircase at the top of the lobby go that appears to pop out of the wall?

We just got back from our 11 night stay at the WL. We had an inner courtyard room view and were only three doors away from the windows on the 6th floor to view the fireworks. Awesome, awesome room.

We were flag family on our last day (my birthday) and I think the stairs mentioned above are those that lead up to the roof.

Any questions?
