Not asking to start a war...

This is our first time at club level at WL. We usually tip in the AM when we leave, since there is turndown service, do we tip twice? If yes, the same amount?

Just what I needed to know. Still have not heard back from DU to see if the change to CL went through (had 40%). Now I wait and keep my fingers crossed.

So, I got the message back, there are no rooms at the 40% off bounceback (went in Dec 09).

I have a question, can they open up or once they are gone...they are gone?

One more question...
We purchased an AP in May, the room discounts are not yet into Nov. When they are, will there be a certian number of AP CL rooms? If I was to pay rack rate some are available so there are some out there.

Thanks!

How could I keep checking on my own? I booked bounceback through the resort in December. Would I need to call or can it be done on-line?

We are currently booked in a standard view room and I am seriously considering upgrading to CL. Is there a CL for dummies section? I couldn't find anything explaining CL on the Disney site. I have read a lot of posts on here but still had a few questions, like can you take food/beverage back to your room? Like could we take a few beers with us? What are the hours it is open? would I be able to access it pretty much all day? Are there any additional charges, like for turndown service? So just a few random questions I couldn't find answers too!

See posts 1425 and 1432. A lot of those questions were just answered for me. If I was more computer savy I would attach them but... oh well.

Do you know if you can grab couple of waters to take with you to the park? Or a couple of beers back to your room?

What is the best way to get from the WL to the monorail? Like for dinner ressies at Chef Mickeys, BK at Poly and Grand Flor etc...

We are considering CL (just have to get myself beyond the extra $$). So What is Turn Down Service Really?

I booked CL! I just couldnt pass up the opportunity! DH is going to be so surprised and so happy too!
Now I really want to change around some ADR's to take full advantage of CL but everything is booked. I guess I will just keep checking online daily and keep my fingers crossed!

Friends of our just got back from their stay at the WL. They told us that the bus to the MK now stops at FW after the WL- is this correct? When we were there last year, it was a direct shot to MK (although buses to other parks were not). If this is the case, I guess the boat might be the faster mode to get to there.

When we were at FW last year there was NO bus to the MK, boat was the only option. So if that is so, it's an addition/change.

Does anyone know if WL has cribs available??? I know they have pack n plays but with staying for 10 days I really want my LO to be comfortable. Anyone ever request one? If so, did you get it? I put the pack n play as a request when I did online check-in, but now I am wondering if bigger cribs are available. Any ideas?

Absolutely keep on trying! It took me 4 tries over the span of a few weeks, but I got a CL room with my 40% pin!!

A really nice lady told me to keep on trying and chances were, rooms would open up as I got closer to my 45-day mark when someone cancelled their reservation. Little did she know I'm just not that patient but I appreciated her advice. GL to you!!

There is no one "guarding" the food. You can walk up whenever you want and just take what you want and bring it back to your room or down to the pool. The CM's don't really care what you do. They close for short periods of time to restock or whatever, but you are more than welcome to help yourself to whatever you woud like. I think that the beers are in a cooler, along with the sodas. There are large drink dispensers with I think lemonade and ice tea. We would stop off at the lounge on our way backs from the park and grab a snack to bring back to our room to watch the MK fireworks from our balcony. The maid will pick up your dirty dishes or you can bring them back to the lounge area.

You can either take the boat to the Contemporary and then catch the monorail or take the boat to the MK and pick up the monorai there.

Thiking of switching from CBR to WL for 2 reasons:

1) our room in CBR is a pirate room far from the main pool and food court and there is no other availability

2) DH (disney resister) prefers the theming at WL.

Our boys our 9 and 6 and as long as the pool has a slide they are happy.

As with most resorts, the bus transporationat WL seems to be an issue. Since my kids are early risers we're planning on doing rope drop for morining EMH. Will it be a problem to make rd with transportaiton at WL? How much time do you need to leave?

Many thanks.

You'll be fine. We are rope droppers and never have a problem making rope drop at any parks.

MK will be easiest for you. You can take a direct bus to MK which takes all of 10 minutes. The boat takes 10 minutes as well but you may have to wait a little longer. As long as you leave 40-45 minutes beforehand you should be ok but we've made it to rope drop when we left 20 minutes beforehand.

Good luck! Hope you love it! :)

Just returned late last night from a wonderful stay at WL - Club level! We were there 7/4 through 7/10. We stayed in room #7111 - the room was awesome...
Any questions, ask away...
I took a bunch of pictures and in the process of uploading everything. I will post some pics soon plus a review!
