We live no where near a pool. I would like to get one so my kids are not afraid of the water and know how to swim. I learned early my husband can swim I guess but never learned to float. Yes, we are driving my DH wanted to fly but I don't. It will be a lovely 15+ hrs w/ a toddler, baby, and a hubby. lol. I really hope it will be nice weather. and maybe a little bit of pixie dust for our stay. I have been wanting to stay for a while and finally w/ the 4/3 deal and a early in the year trip are able to. Of course, I'm trying to figure out how I can talk him into going back for our birthdays in Sept. LOL

I would love to get some family pictures done around the resort. Hopefully we are all in a good mood around that time.

DW and I don't leave for 58 days and these pictures and comments are making me even more homesick for The Lodge than I already was !!!!!!!!!! We had a December trip planned , but had to cancel as DW needed foot surgery. Please someone post MORE pictures of our home away from home

These pics are making me very excited. Only problem is this will be first EVER WDW visit for all of us so will be hard to decide what to do each moment, but since it will be summer I'm sure we will want to swim quite a bit and that pool area and hot tub look great. More and more glad I chose WL. Thanks all for posting! We leave May 29!

Your first trip how MAGICAL, first you need to find out the park hours and which park has EMH for each day. This way you can decide on a park and which days to visit.

I use morning EMH when they are available during the summer months so we can be at that park at opening...most guest don't arrive at the parks until around 11:00am even if they plan on being there at rope drop.

You will be able to complete more attractions in these golden hours before the crowds start to arrive. If the lines get to long then you can take a break and visit with the characters.

Around lunch time you will be able to head back to the Lodge and enjoy the pools and other activities during the heat of the day. It will be very hot during your stay so unless you live in one of the southern states it may effect your family more. Remember to stay hydrated and use your sunblock.

I think you posted that your children are Cub Scouts they would love being Flag Family, you can request this at Check-in to see if it's available during your stay.

I felt that way last week. Now I have everything done... Sometimes I think just waiting is worse than still having planning to do.

The time to your trip will fly by. We went last year at the same time you are going. Had beautiful weather and not a drop of rain the whole week.

Oh I can only hope Brian. We went in May before and Yikes it was already hot. Figured we try a different time and w/ the 4/3 got so very lucky. Now I'm trying to figure out how to get our next trip. I will probably be packing & repacking up until we leave. I'm just so excited for DD to see Mickey and hoping it is the reaction I'm thinking it will be. All this stuff we want to do and I know it will fly by. and that is what stinks about going to Disney. So much fun then its over.

Oh well, I'm sucking every minute of pure magic as I can.
