are the deluxe rooms just bigger rooms than all the others?

sometimes I get the urge to stay CL..........last trip to Poly, I had it booked but then changed it.

Yes they have a living room with a Sofa bed and bedroom with two queens. There is just one Bathroom though. There is a map of them at the bottom of post #1 in this thread.

I don't have kids, but the slide is tame compared to the Poly slide. It's still fun though! :yay:

Has anyone done the evening photos, can you have the pictures added to the photo pass? Thinking this may be nice for our little family!

TIA

Off to register my photopass card. Maybe they'll send me a Photopass CD discount.

I just noticed some week-old pics on another thread taken at MK that show the decorations still up there. Are they still up at WL? If so, when will they take them down?

another question............for those that have stayed at WL with kids, how was the pool slide? That is the most pressing question here LOL
I can tell from the pics its not as high at the volcano slide at the poly, but did your kids think it was a fun slide?

My DS LOVED the water slide. The pool at the WL is tame in comparison to some of the other resorts but neither of my kids knew the difference. They would have spent the entire trip playing in the pool if we let them! I am sure DS went down the slide at least 30 times in a row! Just so ya know even though the pool is open late (midnight I think) the slide closes early when the lifeguards leave. This was a dissapointment to DS more than once!

I just realized I hadn't made the announcement on this thread yet!

We are going back to the WL in 10 months 2 weeks and 2 days!!!!

Most of the rooms are approximately 340 sq.feet.
The Deluxe Suites are approximately 500 square feet and offer 2 rooms; a living/kitchen room and a Large Bedroom with 2 beds. The Living Room Couch also opens into a bed. In addition to the couch, the Living Room has a TV, table, 2 chairs, wet bar and mini refrigerator. Plus access to the Club Level.

Hey all!

We're leaving out! I'll post pics and stuff as soon as I can!

I'm going to Disney World!

Guess it's time for me to jump in here again, too! Going for Christmas 2010 festivities and since WL is our favorite resort I couldn't resist WL at Christmas time.

Yay on getting your documents!! I'm going to register my photopass sometime this weekend. We've never done that before so it should be interesting.

Joining the thread.

After many trips - all offsite - we are staying on property for our next trip. We just booked our August trip (for DS's 16th bday) today with our AAA TA. :woohoo: We booked CBR, but she was showing us that for not too much more we can stay at WL. I have just sat here for the past hour reading this thread to find out as much information as I can on WL to try to decide about changing our ressie from CBR to WL.

So question for anyone or everyone. If we change to WL we would be booking a standard room (really cannot afford to book a higher rate room). I can see from some pictures that there is a chance for a view of the castle in MK if you are in the right room, but I really don't want to be stuck hearing delivery truck noise from the service entrance or WCC noise. What room preferences would I ask for??? :confused3

Help!

Ask for a high floor level. :thumbsup2

I've never stayed anywhere else. Having everything under one roof is just so appealing to me. I can't imagine staying anywhere else.

Where ever you stay - make fabulous memories!!

We've always booked a sv room and have been very lucky to have received free upgrades 4 times in a row but this past June we weren't so lucky and got a room overlooking the loading dock and the smoke house. I was really disappointed that I didn't reserve a higher grade room until a couple of nights into our stay and we were laying in bed watching TV and I noticed a flash out of the corner of my eye, when I turned to look I could see the high fireworks from the MK without getting out of bed; it was awesome! It was room number 5042 and even on the mornings that we slept in we never noticed any noise coming up from the loading dock.
