The whole family has the fever...

Disney fever.. (didn't expect that, did ya?)

The last few years, we (DW, DD and me) have gone to WDW about this time of year. This year, due to extra expenses (yay house remodeling) we weren't able to go... DW and I have discussed next year, and we're thinking we can make it work, but not until December (correspond with DD's birthday).

My wife signed up on TGM about am onth ago to get back into the Disney planning swing of things (even though our trip isn't tentatively for 18-20 months)... I've been living vicariously through trip reports (instead of working? )..

And now last night, just before bed, I noticed my daughter had brought out her stuffed Minnie doll to go to sleep with (she's not had Minnie out for quite some time now), and I noticed her collection of Disney Transportation cards on her bedstand (so she can organize them, she says).

Sad bunch, aren't we?

We just started planning our October trip As you can see we have been quite a few times and the fever is always there!

We get the fever every spring, as May is our usual travel period. We aren't able to go every year it's more like every two but that doesn't stop the kids from asking EVERY DAY. I'm glad they look forward to this family time together because even though they are growing up we still continue to make wonderful memories together on our Disney vacations!

Oh yeah, we got it all BAD around here too. I put a picture of an Epcot-France napoleon on my desktop. We listen to ride audio and podcasts in the car. DS will close his eyes and I walk him through rides. We keep watching the WDW planning and park DVDs that we have. We were just there in November. It shouldn't be this bad yet!

I can commiserate -- we go about every three years, and for some reason I was convinced this was the year we got to go...until I did the math and realized that it's not until NEXT year...sob! I moped for days!
