I was telling [my brother] about how I want to bring some movies to share on the bus rides to and from camp and he had suggested relaying the idea to you so that we could possibly get others from class to bring movies to share?

guh. Does this sound passive/whiny/other negative adjectives to anyone else? I'm sending this to my Bible fellowship teacher and she's one of the sweetest people on Earth and the last thing I want is to come off as any of those previously mentioned descriptions.
