Thought so! Oh what unfortunate implications that song makes since the rise of "gay" being commonly used to mean "homosexual" instead of it's older meaning of "happy".

They still use that line in the Three Caballeros comic "The Magnificent Seven (Minus Four) Caballeros".

My goal is now to get a photo with Panchito and Jose next time I'm in WDW! I hope they're still doing photos...

I know what they meant in the 40's, but when an 18- and a 21-year-old watch any movies under the influence of Mountain Dew and not enough sleep, things go crazy The song's not the only awkward moment in the film, either.

Panchito and Jose only do meet and greets in Tokyo for some reason Which is stupid, because there's a perfectly good excuse to use it in Florida now, but they haven't exactly made the best decisions regarding characters in Epcot.
