Did you hear the full story on David Ortiz hugging the soldier after his homerun last night? Heidi Watney just said that earlier in the game, the soldier (sorry, I can’t remember his name) gave Ortiz an Army coin (that he got overseas) for good luck. 2 ABs later, Ortiz hit the homerun. When Papi crossed the plate, the soldier was the first person he saw, so he ran over there to give him a thank you hug.

I heard about this. I think that is pretty awesome. Ortiz was my first favorite player, but after getting into baseball a bit more, Adrian Beltre is my new favorite.

Hmmm so today has been very eventful.
Went to the dentist at 9am, picked up some furniture around 11pm, ate at starbucks, went to publix and saw some friends, and now home!

the earrings are $300 ): but they come from the yawkey way store! it's epic in there haha. that's where i got my ellsbury shersey yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah! it's opposite fenway park. they have a baseball glove chair in there and all of the sherseys stapled to the wall and you go up to the counter and you give them your size and player and they get it for you :')

i didn't even know who jacoby ellsbury was really when i got the t shirt LLLLLLLLLLOOOLLL.
i was torn between ellsbury, martinez, beltre and scutaro. LOL SO MUCH THAT MARTINEZ AND BELTRE GOT TRADED AT THE END OF THE YEAR LLOLOLOLOL. i so nearly got a beltre shersey because he hit a home run when i went to see the game, but they didn't have it in navy with red writing, only in red with navy writing, by that point i'd crossed out scutaro and i was like.. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. uhhhhhhmmm.. i'll go with the ellsbury one then.

then i got back to the hotel and researched and i was like YES I'M GOOD and i got an ellsbury bracelet from the yawkey way store again the next day. it was $15.

I've had such a busy day... I handed in my essay, then went to Earl of Sandwich, then got a bus over to Trafalgar Square, but missed my stop, then I ended up at Buckingham Palace and watched those guys with the black fluffy hats walk about a bit, then I walked around Buckingham Palace, then I noticed The Gunner on the other side of the road at Hyde Park Corner, so got a picture and tweeted it (statue that's a main character in the Stoneheart series. Go read it now!), I did a lot of tweeting over the day, then walked through Hyde Park which was so weird because it didn't feel like I was in the city at all, then I noticed I was close (being a relative term) to some museums, so I walked over and did the Natural History Museum (mainly the volcanoes and earthquakes and stuff. Their earthquake simulator feels too tame), and also the Science Museum, then I came home.

Watched Total Drama Action. No noticeable edits to me. Disney kept in the line "dam beavers, dam! Go back to your dam!" which Cartoon Network changed to "down beavers, down! Go back to your dam!", which is awesome.

so on d of e, they put our phones in little plastic sandwich bags and tape them up so we can't use our phones, and i just put my phone in one and it works just the same, i can still use it LOL fail. i'm pleased actually LOL
