Umm, Bethany - I got 4 of the large square containers, and the bowl set
I hope you finally start feeling better. Glad the insurance may be resolved.

We spend usually between $35-$60 on a normal week at the supermarket. I've been shopping primarily at
Walmart and Winn-Dixie. W-D has some great sales!
I am feeling substantially better today compared to yesterday. Still not great, but far better than before! Thanks; I am hoping it gets resolved soon.
Bethany, I had 6 pages of those stickers that I kept forgetting at home. Now they aren't doing the promo any longer. Grrr, I'm really annoyed now that I know it's such a hot item.
That stinks!
Robin, If I didn't do anything when the temps rose above 80, we'd really be in trouble! We could literally freeze this week & have the temps pushing 80 by next week. We rarely see long term cold snaps like we're getting now.
I wish it would push 80 next week. I am beginning to wonder about this weather. Last month we set records for how much rain we got, this month we are setting records for the cold. What luck I came just in time for all this!
I think I am OVER living in the north. Never again!
For all you people still living in the north....we actually have school already on a 2 hour delay for Friday. Why? "This action is taken due to the very high probability of black ice conditions on the roads in the early morning hours."
Read: We are delayed because it's COLD out!
Wow, I have never heard of lock & lock and even Bethany has.
Hey, now! Lock and Lock are plastic storage bins. Not food.
I haven't either, must be a Southern thing.
PS: I love my lock and lock! I get it at walmart here.
But New Jersey is SOOOO not the south!
Got you beat....2 large square containers, 2 bowl sets and a large pitcher...

I think we have the same pitcher! Came in really handy that I happened to have FOUR containers of water in the fridge when that boil water advisory happened last month. I didn't actually need to boil any since I had so much just sitting in the fridge.
I'm with Robin. I hate the heat. If it's cold, I can always put on another sweater or make something that takes a long time in the oven, but I hate being hot and I don't like air conditioning.
Well, when it's hot you can always take off another ...errr, maybe not.

I don't like being in extreme cold because I shiver and I end up tensing up my whole body...then I ache from all the tension. My back, my jaw, my shoulders...gah. I find extreme cold (Like, below +20

) to be actually painful.
Good morning! It's another crazy Wednesday around here. Good news is that I sent an email to my business manager, filling her in on the health stuff so she would know why I'm a little anxious about ins stuff, and she replied back that an email from the ins company WITH our policy number attached came in at the exact same time as my email to her! So, I have something now to get in the door. Card will get here in a week or two but with the number, we're good.
I called the GI and told his assistant to go ahead and make the appt with the surgeon.
I am glad you got your insurance issues worked out. I'm sorry you have to have the surgery; I hope that the relief is worth the hassle for you.
Lock and lock...I have never heard of it. Is this some kind of tupperware thing? I am always losing parts of tupperware...I have bins full of lids without boxes and boxes without lids. I think they go hide with the missing socks somewhere.
Gretchen, geez, when it rains, it pours, doesn't it? Sorry about the freezer. I think I have to get a new dishwasher. Mine runs for hours and doesn't clean well. Oh, and my faucet is draining water under my kitchen sink. I am ignoring both of these things for now.
Yes, Lock and Lock is plastic bins. They are called Lock and Lock because they have multiple clasps to hold the lids on the bins. I actually find them a little annoying, but they are nice. They have the rubber strip around the edge of the lid so they are airtight.
You're ignoring leaking water?
Wow, you win. At least I was able to save most of the food in the freezer by cramming most of it in the small freezer and sending the rest to Kenny's Mom. I HATE to wash dishes. And I hate having to clean out under my sink even more. When the idiot who replaced my counter tops failed to attach the sink like he was supposed to, we had a disaster. I had boiled some shrimp and poured them into the colander in the sink. I heard a loud POP and then I heard the water gushing out under the sink. I thought we would never get the shrimp smell out.

So, moral to the story - don't ignore the leak for too long.

YUCK! and I'm glad you didn't get hurt with all that boiling water!
It is miserable here today. Snowing with winds gusting to 30+ MPH. In other words a real ground blizzard. It is suppose to stop snowing soon but the wind is to still blow. They are saying -30 WC. Burrrrrrr!
I am finally off work and home trying to get everything ready and packed. We feel if we can get about 100 miles to the west we should be ok. I talked to the people we are renting from in Colorado and the sun is shining there. Cold but ok. If we can just get out of here, we should be just fine the further west we get.
-30? Okay your location is OFF my "Visit in January" list.
Stay safe out there! I hope you have a great trip to Colorado. Don't hate me, but I lived on the Front Range for 8 years and never went skiing.
