The baby is here! Born at 2:10 this morning. 7 pounds 9 ounces. Not sure on the length. Beautiful baby boy, and his name is Paxton James. I'm so thrilled!!!

I'm flying to be with them Sunday morning! I can't wait!!!! This is my baby brother, and his wife. He's been really depressed lately since my mom isn't here and she used to come stay for a week after each grandchild was born. I understand the feeling, so my dad and I are flying out to Syracuse to stay with them until Thursday! I'm so excited!!!!

By the way, SIL is doing fine. Once the baby was born, her blood pressure went down, and she is feeling very good!!!

Nancy- I hope Kady is able to pencil Buddy in at some point. How is Marisa's therapy going?

Marisa's therapy is going well. She told me this morning that if she had really understood what this would be like she probably would not have done it but I think that she will let this fade. The PT guy is really good and he had her bending her knew sop now she can get around much better!

Becky- I love thinking about your mac and cheese!

Ladies- I'm glad that Kady's very busy calendar gave you a chuckle! I have been smiling all morning long thinking about how she needs a daytimer!

I have got to get dinner started but I just don't feel like it. Buddy is napping and I am jealous!

Nancy, I'm glad Marisa is getting around a little better. I suspected this rehab was going to be awful. I had to help Bob do his, years ago when he messed up his leg & had surgery. It was bad & he is not a whiner.

I don't know if I'm missed something else big. I am in a serious funk & can't shake it, even though I'm trying. I didn't sleep well last night, but was able to take a nap after getting DH off & taking A to school. Woke up feeling even more tired & funky.

dinner tonight will be leftover soup, last nght we just had the pot pie. I'm too lazy to bother with anything else.

The attorney we found in Va. seem to be very good but we are being cautious & not liking much of what we are being told. I think WDW w/ Mom couldn't ave arrived at a better time.

Greg & I are both getting colds but I'm sure it's stress related.

Glynis, congratulations on the new arrival!! I also wanted to tell you that I have made that pioneer woman lemon chicken sandwich, and it tastes just as good as it looks. YUM! I've made a bunch of things from her site. Did you know that she just published a cookbook?

I'm glad to know that the sandwich is yummy! I'm making it with turkey cutlets instead of chicken breasts. I'm also using Swiss cheese instead of process cheese slices. But the rest will be the same.

I'm asking for the cookbook for Christmas. I just love to read her blog, though. Her explanations regarding the cooking crack me up!!!

Well, I can vouch for her cinnamon roll recipe. I also tried her "no knead dinner rolls" for Thanksgiving, and they were a hit! I've made her Welsh rarebit, and that was very yummy and comforting. Alan wants me to make her biscuits and gravy, so that's coming up in the future. I'm making
"Marlboro Man's Second Favorite Sandwich" for dinner tonight, and I'll let you know how that is.

Now that I know how good her stuff is, I'll be trying a lot more from her site!

I'm so sorry that you are having to go through this. However, I'm so glad that you've found a good attorney. You really need to know all the good, the bad and the ugly in order to keep yourselves protected. You know that you can come here and vent anytime.

Husband was home all day from work sick. He went to Dr and they put him on an antibiotic amoxacillion ? spelling 1000 mg in morning and 1000 at night wooo said he has a sinus infection.

Evening friends--
Sorry I am not doing that great keeping up.....this past week has been so crazy!!
I offered to help with the honor roll program for Ross' grade...loooong story short....somehow (sigh) I have ended up in charge of the whole thing for all 3 grades!!! The teacher who is in charge (I say that lightly) is useless and beyond insulting....Kris has already laid down the law that after this terms student lounge I am to be done. Student lounge is all kids in each grade that make 1 of the 3 levels of the honor system get out of class for the period grade they are (ex/ 6th grade out period 6) we have popcorn drinks music wii and goodies brought in, they get to hang out etc. We also give out discount cards to local places that I had to call and get donations from. This has been so time consuming and stressful. I can't wait until 2pm tomorrow when it is all done with.

That being said..onto to all of you....or at least what I can remember in this fuzzy brain of mine tonight!

Maria--Honey your mind is going a million ways with twists and turns, it is impossible to get anything accomplished with all you are processing. I am glad you have a lawyer. I also agree with Kat that getting away might be just the thing you need to clear your head and figure things out.

Sheryl--I hope whatever you have you get over quickly and doesn't get you down for long!! Rest!!

Glynis--I am glad you are going to your brothers to see that precious new baby!! Safe travels!!

Nancy--I just love Kadyisms...poor buddy...maybe he can get ahold of Kady's assistant and get a spec of her time!

Becky--I saw on FB that you were considering the Kindle...I am looking at that and the nook as well...my concern with the Kindle for myself is that it uses sprint and we do not have much for sprint coverage in Maine, the nook uses at&t.....I like that the kindle you can get blogs as well and am not sure if the nook offers that.....people seem to be more in favor of the nook though......ugh decisions!!

Laura--I never got a chance to post on here just how beautiful I thought Caili was for the Nutcracker!!

Kathy-I am sure it is hard to not ask so many questions of Kyle and his life....but this is a new phase of your relationship with him and it is all trial and error I am sure! You are such a role model for me and mine with Ross!!
Oh yeah and post the pics!!

I have the student lounge tomorrow for the honor kids and then my inlaws want to go out for a drink while Ross is at the school dance(this will be hell....it is bad enough she is on fb now and follows me like a hawk on it now they want to go out for a drink, we couldn't say no as they are watching Ross this weekend while we go away....I won't drink much...makes my lips tooo loose)

I might not get back on until Sunday night/Monday....(I am sure I will get a fb post out though...that I even fig out how to do from my phone, )
Kris and I are leaving Saturday afternoon for a weekend away and to do our Christmas shopping. We always go the 1st weekend of the month and get it all done with!

Oh...supper was pizza....sigh...I miss having time to cook!!

Riley did will with his surgery. His eyes are puffy and needs drops 3 times a day on top of the drops we normally do. The doctor was very happy with the way the eye healed. He does not act partially blind and the eye is not as clouded as I thought...just where it ruptured.

I took Thomas to see Santa today. He was so cute. I am going to be a couple pics of FB.

Sounds like you are fighting something off. Try to take it easy over the weekend so that you are not sick throughout the Holidays.

You need the get-a-way. Too much to think about and too much stress. Don't worry about the house, the decorations, the cooking or laundry. It is not going anywhere. Call me if you need me, i am always just a phone call away

Dinner was good. I roasted the pork and sweet potatoes, made gravy and had a bean and carrot medley and corn. Needed to make corn and string beans because Nola and Welby had dinner here and my Princess loves her veggies! She eats like a little chow hound and Buddy says Welby doesn't feed her She told him that the little "savage" will not eat her food, not even her bananas anymore, she wants Nana's She is also going through some sort of spurt and is making Welby crazy. She told me that Brian stayed home and occupied her in order to ensure that the little mischief stayed alive for one more day

Ugh Nan..trust me I did my best to avoid....she asked me and when I didn't accept it she emailed me daily....I made excuses for almost a month, but as Kris says they are our babysitters and we adore his dad....so we sucked one up for the team.....my mil is the reason that potatoes can turn into Vodka!!! I just wish there was a setting so I could pick and choose what she saw

It's good you have an attorney, even if the info you are learning is not the best. This trip definitely is a perfect time for you to get away

My MIL is my friend and I haven't spoken to her in almost a year! I ignored the request for several weeks until she called DH.

There IS a setting - you can create lists and decide what they can and cannot see. You can put her on a list all her own!



I got in around 7pm, got all that way through making dinner to the "add milk" to find DH dumped all the milk out I had half and half, so that's what I used. It was fairly thick in comparison but it worked okay.
