Good morning! I've been up for awhile. I've tried cleaning the house a little but had to keep sitting down to rest. This cold is not fun. Plus I've been doing some updating on the computer.

We are. I think we will drive out to Metairie and then come back. That is the whole agenda for they day. Oh, and to put away the Christmas ornaments. The tree came down a few days ago but the ornaments are on my kitchen table. I need to clean off my desk too. All INDOOR and low-key activities.

Ann- I have a lousy memory but I do remember that none of my kids started school in diapers. I also remember that marisa wet her pants and one day told me she wanted pretty panties. That was all it took. Daniel told me he did not like the "rubber" pants. That worked. I also remember Kady being older but that took time too. Marisa called Welby and gave her a little advice btu from a Nana POV, I would just say that it will happen and that it does nto pay to rush. I am telling Welby that too. It is harder when you have two but don't get discouraged. Listening to all the Moms here helped me remember what it was like and that they all get it sooner or later.

Kat- I was hoping that things were getting better with your rMIL

Janice- Did the bath help?
Vickie- Your Boy is awesome! And you are too funny!

Betthany- I agree about that infection, don't get pneumonia!

Hey all! Back from the dentist and I am happy with him and his asst! Not sure if I ever told you about my phobia that kept me away too long.

I am emotionally and physically exhausted. I cant sleep lately. I was blaming in on the new Keurig but that is already broken. A new one is being shipped...

My brother had to be put on a vent again and they are thinking of putting in a trach. They are thinking he also has another infection...I would really like to get to see him but I do not think that is the best thing. He is awake but not really responding...

I guess I am a bit in a funk...I thank you all for your prayers and good wishes for my DB.

I hope everyone is doing well. I am not doing much else today except taking care of the boys so I should be able to catch up...if my head stops pounding.

Something really stupid stressed me out earlier and I guess my pressure rose...

I just wished the boy had been feeling good, so we could have visited more with him & your nice hubby! Hopefully we can make it happen on your next visit o'er the water.

We watched a surprisingly sweet & cute Eddie Murphy movie! "Imagine That" is was a wonderful heartwarming movie that had me tearing up.

Emily had a huge moment yesterday........Her name is now associated with the show & has appeared in print. She will also be in the playbill so she's on cloud 9.
Only one of the kids in the show are from the Chicago area so all the kids are bonding & learning together. When I talked to her last night she said earlier in the day while dancing she realized her dream had come true.....

Which pic in particular? I was checking out the snow pics, too cute!

Kat, I'm with Bethany, it's too darn cold down here! We will have to meet up on our trips. Just so you can meet our girl!

Glynis, We thought about going see "Sherlock Holmes" but I hadn't heard much about it, plus it's so cold we just stayed in. If we decide to brave the cold tomorrow, that will be the movie.

I'm going to cook something but not sure what yet. There a cooking light recipe that's tempting me, Creamy Garlic Seafood Soup. But I might go the easier route and make a chili.

Dinner has changed. I am making a turkey soup but that is not dinner, I just like soup. We have been invited to some friends for dinner and Buddy is not enthusiastic. "Well, it's another fine mess you got us in." I m making Kat's warm winter cake to bring but right now it is not looking too good in the oven, I hope it straightens out. It is so freakin cold! I think I should have just tossed a bottle of brandy in the car to bring

We really need to bring their gift, I packed a bottle of wine and two crystal hand painted wine glasses. I hope they like them!

How did the Keurig break? I guess it was under warranty?

Have you ever tried Melatonin to help you go to sleep? It's all natural and doesn't leave you feeling drunk in the morning like Benadry and Tylenol PM does sometimes. I struggle with sleeping, too.

Boy what a week, normally work 20- 23 hour week and this week got 43 hours. Yeha nice big pay check but my body isn't use to that and my house sure shows it things still aren't put away from trip. So time to get moving on straightening up this house.

Don't work too hard in the house, after such a hard week at work! You need to take care of yourself!

My DM went to my SIL for Christmas Eve. She asked DM to borrow her meat thermometer. When they got there she pulled out their prime rib and asked my DM what the temp should be. DM replied, and DSIL said well I guess 180 is a bit over cooked!!! My poor father had us in hysterics the next morning describing it to me and my other brother.
