Hi All,

Just wanted to check in, I'm sorry but I haven't read back.
Last night Greg & I have a 2 hour chat with Cameron's Dad...after all is said & done there are some big red flags but the door is still opened.

Today I called Cameron & was on the phone more than 2 hours....Some good some bad but I felt more like a therapist than a possible Mom.
She is contacting legal aid by the end of the week. It is a very complicated story to say the least.

All I've done today is played bejeweled on FB & made turkey veggie soup w/ egg noodles.
I'm thinking but overwhelmed.
Again, I can't tell you how much your thoughts & prayers mean to me. I'm sorry about not picking up the phone but I feel like I can't talk.

Please forgive me for not catching up.

Maria, Thanks for letting us know you are okay! I wish I could do more than pray, but most of the times that's the best thing anyway!:flower3:

Got dinner going...DH walked in the house at 5:05pm. By 5:15pm has pager was going off again, he had to run out on another issue that could take about three hours. Poor DS just doesn't understand. He waits all day for daddy to get home, then he has to turn around and leave. A new job with no on-call would be wonderful. Looks like dinner for me by myself. Rant over.

Maria, please don't apologize, we are here for you. Continued prayers for you my friend.

Ann, I'm sorry!

The soup, I ended up doing an italian lentil soup, I'm going to add spinach & arugula.

Maria- sending prayers and hugs. No explanations are needed my friend

I would be irritated, too. If we lived closer I'd come join you!!

My DH was asked to watch all 4 kids from 5-730 because they both ended up with school activities tonight. He hates when he has all 4 but agreed. I was going to make the yummy ranch chicken but DH forgot to set it out to thaw. So, instead of staying warm and dry at home I will be picking us up dinner and going over to eat with him at their house. Darn.

Taco Tuesday is calling our name.

Yummy...food envy!!!! Fried oysters are one of my favorite foods

They were really good and I ate way to many of them.

Hmmm. I think I need a picture of this... sounds tasty!

I'll try to remember to take one next time I have them. One of these days I am going to attempt to make them myself.

Spinach Artichoke Casserole!

Sounds really yummy. Will have to make this for Christmas I think.

Ladies, the reason why the doctors harp on you about your purse is that carrying a huge heavy purse can throw your spine out of alignment. I actually developed a mild case of scoliosis as a teen and it was because of my purse. My doctor recommended that I switch to a backpack worn on both arms. I eventually self corrected, but I still carry a backpack instead of a purse, unless it's a cocktail type purse

I have a coworker who went to the Dr. with shoulder pain and the Dr. told her it was from her purse.

 Sorry I didn't get a chance to respond to your PM, it really is a hard one.

Vick - Once a Who Dat always a Who Dat, it's in your blood now woman!

My boss is a Stealers fan and her boss swears up and down that anyone who was born, even someone who was born in a broken down car on the side of the road, in Pittsburgh are destined to be Stealers fans. :rotfl:

As for me.....

Dinner tonight was a ham and cheese omelet and roasted potatoes.

Hey...just checking in.

I had grilled cheese and tomato soup for dinner. Goes nicely with the weather.

Please don't ask our forgiveness! You are going through a whole lot right now, and we understand!

I hope you know that I'm here for you if you want to talk, scream, cry or whatever! I'm still praying for you and Greg. That will not stop!

Good Morning! Well, I gave in to the chocolate yesterday so I am starting over today. Not that I am truly dieting since it’s the holiday season, but don’t want to make a piggy out of myself! I did, however, go on the treadmill for about a half hour. Dinner will be cheeseburgers (made with low fat cheese, grilled onion and ww bun) and a salad. I keep saying it but today I need to get this house somewhat in order. Riley is going for his surgery tomorrow to have his lashes removed so I will be gone all day (the hosp is about an hour away so its silly to go back and forth…T and I will hit the mall).

Maria, There is no need to feel you have to catch up and keep up. I am so sorry that you are on this roller coaster. My prayers are with all of you. xo

Ann, That is too funny about the Crisco. I am glad that you had a nice T’giving with the family and your baking was a success. I am sorry Ron is having to be on call all the time and that Luke gets upset. I am keeping my fingers crossed for the job. I too have some Xmas things from the Ex…lovely. I am almost done with the Xmas stuff. I keep saying I will decorate more than usual outside since I keep finding more lights but I think I will pass this year.

Nan, Too funny about having both kids and Nola being a little upset. You had your hands full with both of them. I hope it works out for you to watch Jake (if that is what you decide to do). You are such a caring person and child care suits you so well. I hope Marisa did OK at therapy.

Glynis, 17 to 5 boxes! Wow! That is awesome. I am so looking forward to getting rid of all the clutter before we move. Maybe then I will stay organized. I missed how Mary was doing...I hope she is improving with the meds.

Ellen, So nice to see you. I am so glad Jay made it home for the holiday. Please don’t worry about catching up…

Robin, We are talking about staying here until Andrew gets out of school so he can finish and play baseball here but if the house sells, we will have to move since we will not have a place to stay. The house is supposed to be ready in March. Do you have recipe for the pork you made?

Gretchen, Good luck choosing a builder. It’s a lot and we didn’t even have to do that since the community has its own builder.

Sheryl, Love the name of your recipe…it looks so good!

Becky, too funny about the hat and jersey thrown in the Jacuzzi!

Laura, I loved Caili’s dress for the Nutcracker! She is such a doll. I am sure you and the kids are getting really excited that you will see Greg soon. I am so happy that he is able to come home for the holidays! Are your parents going to Disney too?

Lauri, Oh no! The dreaded man cold! Don’t you hate when men procrastinate and then it doesn’t get done?

Vickie, a girl, her boys and football! I can just imagine you on game day!

Aimee, Sorry you had to go out in the yucky weather. I give your husband lots of credit…4 kids? I get flustered when Andrew has 1 or 2 friends over!

Marilyn, Those Steeler fans are crazy…they may attack me when I wear my Giants jersey when I move there.

Bethany, yum! Love grilled cheese and tomato soup!

Please forgive me if I missed anything...;) I am really going to try and keep up now.

Have a great day my friends.

Good morning everyone!

WFD - omelets, hash browns, bacon & biscuits! bbl.....

Morning,

Another busy day, seems to be alot of them this time of year. Dr. MEANIE is sending me for blood work this morning, and then I have my annual gyn exam. Should be loads of fun, anyone feel free to take my place. :lmao: My parents are going to watch the kids. Then we will have lunch with them and my brother Paul (Luke's fav. uncle). Sure the afternoon will be filled with errands DM needs to get done.

WFD- baked chicken wings, mushroom rice, and carrots.

Have a great day all.

Gretchen -- Good luck choosing a builder. I know the choices must be overwhelming.

Nancy -- You are so kind and giving, I am sure Nola will soon learn that you have enough love to share between her and Jake. I hope that works out.

Laurie -- I'm sorry you're dealing with the man cold. I hope he gets back to work soon. ;)

Maria -- Like everyone else has said, do not worry about keeping up. You have enough going on in your life right now. Prayers continue that everything works out for the best.

Ann -- Poor Luke. That must be so tough on him when Ron has to go back out on call. I hope Ron gets good news soon about the new job.

Lauren -- I'm sure you would trade the relief of the house selling for the inconvenience of moving before the new house is done. I can understand wanting to stay where you are until the end of the school year. That would be easier for Andrew. My parents are not going to Disney this year. I think my mom would have gone, but my dad is not as into Disney as the rest of us.

Glynis -- Liam was always like that with his eczema too. He wouldn't say anything until it was so itchy that he was scratching it raw. Good luck keeping on top of it and I hope Mary is feeling better.

Sheryl -- I'm kind of glad your recipe has goat cheese in it. That means I am not tempted to make it. ;)

Kathy -- How is Kyle doing? Has the situation with Mariah resolved itself?

Usually Wednesday is our breakfast for dinner night, but tonight the kids have an activity at school called the Holly Fair. Families donate items (AKA junk) and then kids can go buy the stuff for 50 cents. Of all the school events, this is my least favorite because I end up with all this junk that the kids expect me to love. I haven't decided if we are going yet. IF we go, we'll get pizza there. If not, it will be breakfast food here. I already told the kids we are not going, so they won't be disappointed if we don't. Of course, they will be thrilled if I change my mind. :headache:

Good morning everyone
just wanted to say Sorry I didn't check in I only got out of bed to the bathroom and refill my water. I wish I didn't know what was wrong it seems to make it worse. Sorry to complain.

Don't ever apologize to us! We know that you are sick! You need to focus all your energy on getting well. Please take care of yourself!!!

My kids are going to be so happy! Dinner tonight is chili dogs with french fries! I only make this occasionally, but I happen to have almost everything on hand for it, so this will be the night!

We are planning on decorating at least one of our Christmas trees tonight, so it will be a good meal for that. Quick and easy and filling! We are also looking forward to watching the Pixar short films that are on ABC family tonight! Love those!!!!

Today is full of errand running! Gotta pick up presents, deliver presents, help my sister choose a picture of the grandkids for Grandpa's Christmas, and shop for my trip next week! Yikes!!! I also wanted to make cinnamon rolls for tonight, as well. Guess I'd better get a move on!!!

Have a great day everyone!
