Kimmar ~ I am so sorry for your brother. Please know I am keeping him and your family in my thoughts and prayers. I feel so bad for him.

Lindsay ~ Sorry for the loss of your great grand mother.
Safe travels to WDW. I am very jealous.

To all of my Eastern friends ~ Please stay safe and let us know you are alright if you can. You know we will be worried.

Alison ~ Sweetie, I totally understand how you feel. I just wish there was something or someone that could help you. As Nan said, you have done so much that now I worry about you. Please find something or someone there that understands your situation and can get the much needed help you both deserve. You can't do it all by yourself. That isn't fair to you!!!

I hope all of you in Sandy's way stay safe! I can't even imagine what it is like having to stock up like that and worry about losing power. At least when it happens to us we have no warning! The anticipating must be absolutely nerve wracking!

well we are alright...

We survived most of the storm, we have some minor damage with a leak around the back door and ruining the hardwood floor, and the power is still out, but we are both good.

We headed into David's office to charge things and hope on the internet to let people know we were ok.

Just checking in to see how Kimmar's brother is doing. Kim- your family continues to be in my prayers.....

....they didn't get all of the infected area, so they were going to amputate another 3 inches or so more on Monday....what, with this stupid Hurricane Sandy, we lost all power for 2 days and I had no way to get in touch with him, so I don't know anything... Plus, the hospital is down the shore in Neptune, so I really don't know what's going on.

Popping in to say a quick howdy. We are leaving for WDW around 9 this morning. I am so excited!

I am still doing well on the weight loss!!! I apologize that these aren't full body shots. I will get some of those in Disney, hopefully. But here's a good before and after for you. The first one was actually taken the week I started getting my rear in gear (the last week in June). The second one was taken yesterday.

This is the first vacation I've gone on with my husband where I'm not going to be hiding from the camera

Kimmar-I cannot imagine what your family is going through. I know that this has to be harrowing for your brother but I know that everyone who is close also has so much strain and stress and are forgotten. Please let us know more when you can, you are in circle of prayer.

Well, it has been a terrible week for my family. My first husbands sister has been pretty awful and as a family we have tried to ignore her. Marisa had enough on Kady's birthday and sent back the box of popcorn she sent her for a gift. The gift had Kady's name on it but was clearly not meant for Kady, it was a message to Marisa and she had already said that she was not going to let Kady get used. We have all been unfriended on FB but my sister, nieces and nephews and Anna's mother have not been. Well Marisa started getting calls from my nieces because the FB nastiness had gotten out of control with the last posting something to the effect

"Oh Happy Birthday my wonderful brother up in Heaven. After the past 5 months I now understand why you had to leave and get away from them." This was after she posted that she "raised Donny Marisa and Daniel emotionally and financially"

Now some of you know that he was a raging alcoholic and died at 25. He had canceled the life insurance with the union and had also canceled the insurance policy I had on the house so the mortgage would be paid. And did not tell me. He had also told me he was paying the bills but in reality had been throwing them in the trash. I was 23 and had three babies under 5 years old. I found that all out after the union steward explained why my claim was denied.

He had gotten sick again and even his family who had been in denial about his issues (it was all my fault) so I was pretty much stuck until he got well, which did not happen.

Anyway, I had thought that I had gotten away from all that anger I had after I found out all of that but I guess I still had some left because I have been furious this week. I'm over it now because I know that my life and that of my family turned out well. We have Buddy and he raised my children with me and they are his. Thank God. But for a few days I was not fun to be around. crazy2:

But I'm back!

Today I am doing more homework and sorting clothes for our Disney trip. Dinner is leftovers. Tomorrow I think I will cook a baked ham dinner. Buddy is positive that Kady needs spending money for Disney and has hired her to help him rake leaves. Now the reality is that Kady has more money saved than all of us but Bud just wants to make sure Anyway, I want to make sure we have a good meal and then I am on a crash course to lose a few pounds before our trip.

Oh Nancy,

It is times like this that I hate facecrack. My ex is an a$$ and he stays all kinds of stuff about he has done this or done that, at least we all know he is full of it, but oh does it push my buttons. I am so sorry that you had to go through all that. But it sounds like it was the best thing for your children to have Buddy in their lives, truly a blessing.

Nan, that's awful that people behave so nasty! I'm glad you can stay sane through it.

PIO, you should have stayed another day, I made bacon yesterday for breakfast!

We had burgers the other night. I made Fran a traditional burger, but I had a lamb burger, my new favorite. I took some photos, I'll have to share when I back at home.

I think it's the bacon shortage that was mentioned on the Dis.

No bacon this morning but there was ham. Pork is such a nice sweet meat. I hope there is bacon sometime this week. I need to take a picture. It's the only time that Kimmar is happy with my pictures of bacon.

The breakfast protein this morning was sausage. I think I can feel bacon coming up.......soon........(I hope).
