Oh, we FINALLY went to the supermarket TODAY. We've only been home a WEEK! :rotfl2:

I REALLY need to learn how to cook! This week my mouth was bored, especially when compared to last week! :rotfl:

Are we related ?? :)

I have Peanut butter sandwiches every day for lunch too !!

I LOVE EM...

Oooohh....IKEA!!! The other day I was walking to the train from work, and from about a half block away I see this lady holding a box. I said to my friend "oooh, those look like IKEA cinnamon rolls!" Sure enough, we get closer and that's what they were! :rotfl:

What's really bad is when I am watching a home improvement show and get a single glimpse of something and can tell it's IKEA!

Did you get more peanut butter, looks like you ran out? ;)

Hopefully leaving here in a few minutes. My BFF's youngest DS is sick and she had to wait for her DH to come home from his older DB's b-ball game.

Liam does too. I don't see how he can't be sick of them by now. He has been eating peanut butter sandwiches almost every day for lunch since he was three.

Kathy -- I already canceled plans with my parents and Becky. Unless the weather changes completely overnight, it is going to be too messy to travel.

Maria -- Good luck with the house hunting! I hope it goes fast so you get more time in Disney. Have fun!

I took Caili to two shoe stores today, and we came home with no shoes. The stores didn't have the shoes she wanted in her size, so she left without any rather than picking something else.

I had takeout Indian food tonight, Liam had pizza and Caili had chicken tenders.

Laura I am sorry you had to cancel your day tomorrow. I am sure this winter is only just feeling like it is lasting forever. It is back in the 20's here but no snow :worship:

I like peanut butter too but not 5x a week.:rolleyes1

I have a Ikea credit card that is almost screaming for me to take it "home" but I think I have it safely muffled in the bottom of my purse.;)

Hey...

Since our trip to WDW in oct 07 i have had a PB&J almost every day .....its my link to my happy place !!

I don't blame you, makes no sense to try and travel in that mess.

The Spinach gratin is SO GOOD! Dinner's not ready yet but I've been sneaking tastes, LOVE it and it's SO EASY! I followed your tips and it's perfect.:thumbsup2

Kyle got in to pitch today and did better than last time (would have been hard to do worse), the coach took him aside and told him it's a mind game with him right now and it'll take time for him to get his confidence back and that he's not going to redshirt him, he'll get more playing time. So we are just hoping his confidence comes back. Kyle said the way he is pitching he doesn't deserve to be on the mound.:sad1:

Kathy I hope Kyle starts to believe in himself again. We believe he can do it:hug: He just needs one good game :thumbsup2

OMG it's snowing here right now! :sad2: It was 65 yesterday! Geez, I wish mother nature would make up her mind. We went to the dollar movie and saw "Bolt" was really cute. Then we headed to the Playtime Pizza place. Let's just say that they should offer Valium for the parents as part of the buffet and then ibuprofen on the way out. Luckily, DH could notice my discomfort and bought me a bottle of wine on the way home. Now it's time to cozy up in some flannel pjs and see what's on the TV. DH is headed over to the neighbor's to brew some beer, so I can watch chick flicks all night!

YUM peanut butter. I used to have peanut butter toast for breakfast in the morning until my boss told me the smell was making him rabid with hunger (I eat breakfast at work). Now I eat oatmeal, boring!

Here is the dinner:

I am so sad that Laura is not coming tomorrow. Especially since my Mom is making a roast beef. Which Laura loves and I don't eat. I will have to make myself something different. Boo.

I am pretty sure this one is longer than usual. ;) I am glad you are able to control the siren song of credit cards. I don't carry them anymore. I always seem to find them...no matter how many tissues they are buried beneath.

The Spinach gratin is SO GOOD!

I am glad you like it! You know I am always nervous about posting my mom's recipes. They are guidelines more than rules.

I am sure Kyle will be fine. He just needs to learn to have a short memory.

:rotfl: I bet you would do great business if you opened such a restaurant!

Aarrgh! Now I am even more upset about the weather. Not only do I miss seeing everyone, I miss Mom's roast beef too!

All this talk of peanut butter sandwiches and I had to make one for a snack tonight! :rotfl:

It was good, too. Hee hee!

Thanks Janice

Sounds like you're going to have an awesome night after that!:thumbsup2

We just got home and it start snowing about a mile away from home. Not sure what we are supposed to get if anything. The local news wasn't making sense to me earlier.

Went to the IKEA up on the other side of Baltimore, wanted to go to Wegmans and there isn't one anywhere near the one near DC. Haven't been there in a long time and it sure is differant than the other store, more cramped and chaotic.

Wegman's was good but we didn't get dinner there. They have all sorts of food bars and I did get some Shrimp Purses to have at home but we ended up going to Outback. My friend has a bunch of giftcards that she got for her birthday last year. Had a baked sweet potato and thought of you all! :thumbsup2

Thanks all for the well wishes. I did go to the Dr. and it is not bronchitis. I have a virus and have to let it take it's couse...ugh!!!!!

Our household issues multiplied last night. Started with the DirectTV box blowing, then heat, then a leak under kitchen sink, and then septic. Enough of bad luck already.:scared1:

I did end up going to my brother's party for a little while because DH had to stay home and deal with the septic. Food was good, but I left before he even cut the cake.

More rest for me today, not surre what is for dinner.
Ann

Good Morning,

We are having ravioli with meatballs...maybe sausage too.

Have a great day!

ETA: I must really live in a bubble...even with Beacky and Laura talking of snow, it didn't even dawn on me to check the forecast for here. What a Dumass! We are due 8 - 14 inches. Please pray I do not go into labor now (I have really been feeling crappy). It would be my luck to get stuck and have to give birth in the back of the car!

Lauren--sending good thoughts that "bean" waits until after the snow storm to make an appearance! Not long now!

It's very cold here as well this morning. Boo! At least the sun is out after 3 days of rain/snow. Not sure about dinner tonight. Will have to see what's in the fridge.
