Rogue, Happy Belated to your DH.

No cooking for me today. DH has to work tonight, and I am staying home to nurse my cold. We are all sick still. I have to run out for diapers later so I am thinking I will pick up some chinese hot & sour soup for my supper...that should clear up my sinuses.

Aimee--The crowds were big at MK on Sunday as well. A 30 min wait for It's a Small World! And of course with 2 preschoolers, we had to wait. And yes, lots of purple and gold there as well. Have a great time at AK!

Laura--saw the pic of Caili on facebook. She is such a cutie! Congrats again to her!

Lauren--glad your concoction worked! You need your rest. Sounds like a lot of big babies 'round here. Matthew was a 9+ pounder as well--that was a huge surprise b/c the dr. had given me the 7.5lb estimate! But the delivery was really easy--which surprised me even more when I saw how big he was. So much for those newborn diapers!

I think we're gonna have Kathy's Lemon Spaghetti tonight while watching American Idol. Kris will finally get his chance tonight! According to an update on facebook from our pastor he's having great rehearsals. I'll be doing my part voting tonight. Okay, time to put some clothes on so I don't embaress myself in the carpool line.

Sheryl, that pasta and meatball recipe sounds really delicious. I think I am going to have to make it soon--with turkey meatballs though.

I got my hair done a little different. It is parted on the opposite side and a little angled. When the front gets a little longer I am going to have it cut into a 20's style sharp angled bob.

I also have to chime in on the Wilderness Lodge. I've stayed there twice and I love it. I like Animal Kingdom lodge a lot also--stayed there three times. I love the way the WL smells, and I like taking the boat over to MK.

I was supposed to go to my parents and have dinner with them tonight, but I don't think I'lll get home early enough--so my backup plan is to make the vegetable fried rice and honey-soy chicken I originally planned for yesterday.

Lauren- Are you chuckling at the big baby stories? The big boys here I can see but I am having a hard time picturing little Caili as that big bouncing catapulting baby!

Kathy- that surgery must have been so scary for a new Mom!

Ann- take care of yourself. Welby took Nola to the Dr this morning, she whimpered all night long in her sleep. The Dr said that there are four viruses going around, they last up to three weeks and they need to run their course. I think she said Nola had 5th disease but I am not sure. Your poor little guy is probably in the middle of one of those viruses that linger on.

Sheryl- dinner sounded so good! Cooking with Angelina must have been fun. My girls do not really enjoy cooking too much so I am usually alone in the kitchen. I wish Kady wanted to spend time there with me but her attention span is that of a gnat!

Aimee- it sounds like you are having so much fun!

I am supposed to be cleaning but.....Welby stopped by after the Dr and we visited. Now I don't want to clean....so I'll do laundry and

My family enjoyed their dinner last night, Jeff told buddy the gravy was "safe".

Dinner tonight is crab cakes and pumpkin pasta. I have leftover chicken if anyone wants it but Buddy and I won't, it is Ash Wednesday so no meat for us.

Had a wee incident this morning.......

I had taken the boy to school and I was getting ready for work.

I opened the kitchen door to be met by what I thought was smoke.

I turned to run,slipped on the wood flooring , handed flat on my face bashing my nose.

I duck and covered SAS style to the door !!!




Dont panic youse guys.......smoke turned out to be steam.

I had put the kettle on and forgot to replace the lid !!!

Once my heart rate had return to some were near normal my first thought was " thank god I was home alone and no-one saw me "

Guess Ill never be a fire fighter !!

Morning, everyone. Well, it seems like the bug that hit Alan has found it's way to me. I'm not sick yet, but my tummy is rolling around. I don't do the throwing up thing, ever since the gastric bypass, but I do have cramping, etc. Not fun! No fever, though, so that's good. I have to run some errands, so I'm leaving to do that in a few minutes while I'm still feeling relatively good.

Dinner tonight will be mini shepherd's pies, unless I get to feeling really icky, and then it will be tomato soup that Katie can open and heat up.

I hope everyone gets out of their funks, soon! I just wish that I lived closer to all of you. I hate when any one of you are hurting! I just want to make it all better. I am praying for all of you! At this distance, that's about all I can do.

Wanted to tell you what I served for my Oscar party...I made red velvet cupcakes & used a pastry bag to fill the middle with dark chocolate mousse...delicious!

Today I'm staying home.....need to get the listing together that I want to see. I will start viewing properties Sunday afternoon after I land.

Oh no! That never turns out the way it should. I am too embarrassed to cut my own hair anymore. I did it once, and even though it was a long time before I went to get it cut again the stylist still said, "Did you do this yourself??"

That was, and probably will be, the only time she was big (comparatively) in her life.

When I was telling my friends at work the tears were running down my face with laughter.

Lots of big babies. My oldest DS was 9 lbs 5 1/2 oz. The Dr did an ultrasound and I heard the nurses in the hall say "11 lbs" I freaked! The Dr came in and said he looks big and we don't want him to get any bigger so they induced. I think it was only a day or two before my due date anyway.

WFD- something chicken???

Hey y'all,

We have been outside ALL DAY! A learned to ride her bicycle without training wheels this weekend! She won't get off of it! I have to drag the child off to run to the store, but then back to riding. Dinner will be fish & something. Here's a pic from today!

Nancy, Mmmm Crabcakes! Cooking with Angelina was fun. But don't be too jealous, Alexis seems to be losing her interest in cooking & baking. Everytime I ask her lately I get "Neeaaaah, not today."

Robin, Mardi Gras & Pres Week is going to be the same next year! Whoa that's going to be crowded. We tried in early Jan to find a DVC room for this week, with no luck. Maybe no MG trip next year either.

Becky, We did use turkey for the meatballs. The regular kind not the extra lean. They came out really good. Your hair sounds cute. My DD wears her really angled in the front, it's really cute, it will look really nice on you too!

Maria, I've skipped the salon from being in a funk too. Then realize I've got to go somewhere & !

Sheryl- Gosh, she is so cute! No training wheels os such a big accomplishment . Buddy was helping Kady and letting go when she was not looking. Well he was not quick enough, she saw that she was on her own, had a panic attack and went flying in the house hysterically crying. Buddy was like ?

My DH just called and says "I saw a sign" I was like "A stop sign? What are you talking about?" He says "No a sign. My birthday is on Labor Day this year" I was still completely lost, but he starts talking about how you can get into Disney for free on your birthday. God love him! He wants to go again this year! So it looks like I might be able to plan a trip for Labor Day weekend.
