Soon, it was time for dinner at the Royal Palace! As we entered the dining room, we noticed that no one was dressed up. Then, when we reached our table, we realized that it was Pirate Night dining! Whoops. We were a little embarrassed at that point, but our amazing waiters told us it was okay and that we looked great. So we got over it quickly enough! As usual, the rest of our family was running late. When they arrived in their formal attire, we told them it was not formal night! We started to order. We were in a small room that was Princess and the Frog themed (Side note: I LOVE Princess and the Frog!)
I really liked the wall
As I was taking a picture of the menu, Alwayne came over and held it up for me. It was sweet, and I cannot stress how great our servers were.
For the appetizer, I went with Black Beards Jumbo Crab Cake, which was excellent! Not my favorite though
It was very yummy!
I ordered the Caribbean-style Conch Chowder for my soup.
And for the Main Course, I believe I had The Dutchmans Dijon Crusted Sirloin of Beef. Im not sure, but heres what it looked like. Gosh, I cant believe its been almost four months since the Dream!
I did not get a picture of the Dessert menu; I always forgot to take a picture of it. Probably because I was focusing on what delicious dessert I should order instead of taking pictures. But, this is what I got! And it was extremely sweet, chocolatey, and decadent!
With a hidden Mickey. I think that the filling inside of the chocolate cake is raspberry... but again, I could be wrong! Oh, if only we could recall everything perfectly in our lifetime.
Oh, I found a few more food pictures that my cousin took; she ordered some different things!
And here is me and Ciara; I think we look kind of awkward in this picture, but I have no clue why. It just makes me laugh for some reason.
We finished up our dinner and wanted a picture with Alwayne and Gabor while we looked nice. Even though they were in their pirate outfits!
We went back up to our rooms. When we entered our room, the curtain divider was up. It was a curtain that separated the room into two halves, so that you could have privacy if you wanted. The bathrooms and main bed were on one side, and the TV, desk, bunk beds/couch, and verandah were on the other side. I was the first one in the room, and my bed was the top bunk, as you all know. So, I went in and quickly drew back the curtain divider, and almost ran out of the room. I saw the towel monkey hanging by the desk and thought it was a person. I get scared easily. My cousins were like... what are you doing? It really did scare me though.
We changed out of our formal clothes and dressed up for Club Pirate on Deck 11, the main deck with the swimming pools. Something happened at this point, which made us split up. I really cannot remember why we split up. Me and Caleb went on Deck 12 because Deck 11 was crowded at that point, while Caitlyn and Ciara wandered off somewhere. I was excited because I knew that they were going to have fireworks tonight. I absolutely love fireworks! Especially when it is timed to the music, which Disney does a phenomenal job of, including in their parks! Caleb and I found a good place right under the Aquaduck and near the big screen on deck.
Soon, the fireworks started, and it turns out, we were right under them! Well, we were next to them, but they were really close! I think thats the closest Ive seen fireworks. As they began, Caleb and I were excitedly agreeing that we chose the perfect spot. I took a video of the fireworks, and Ill upload it on here if I can figure it out. My camera doesnt take very good fireworks video though!
I figured it out. Just click below!
The video really does not do the fireworks justice! It was much bigger, brighter, and more colorful! But, I tried to capture it as best as I could.
After the spectacular fireworks show, these slightly scary crew members were roaming the crowds and scaring people. Later, my aunt told me she had to get Anri out of there because she started crying, so it might have been too scary for some little ones! Then, guess who literally dropped down from the top of the ship?
Captain Jack Sparrow!
I took pictures of the screen because my camera didn't have enough zoom to capture him in person. I wish I got him falling down onto the stage though!
He was getting into some trouble, as usual.
And this is where he said farewell. It was a short appearance by Captain Jack Sparrow. But I suppose he was off on some great adventure so its all right.
The show was over, and Deck 11 turned into a huge dance floor! To make the most of our experience, we went down and joined the dance party. I thought it was really fun. The music was good, and they had crew members out and dancing. There was one crew member who was close to us; he was a really good dancer! I know I have some pictures from dancing... I think its on my moms camera, so Ill upload those later if I find them
The dance party was over too soon, and Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl started playing on the big screen. Caleb, Kat (who had joined us in the middle of dancing) and I, plopped down on the deck chairs, happy, tired, and slightly sweaty, and began to watch. At some point, I looked over at Caleb and he was knocked out! I decided that it was time for bed for him and woke him up so we could go back to our room.
Watching Pirates and relaxing with my cousins was great. There were few people, and the night sky was open wide above us. Another great moment.
I think it was past midnight at this point. We walked into our room and I was surprised to see Caitlyn and Ciara sleeping. They had told us they were going to see the latest Pirates movie in the theater. That was suppose to start at midnight. Later they told us that they watched a little bit, then got sleepy and decided to go back to the room. So, we headed off to bed, and it was another good nights sleep for us all.
The next day (and last day) was the day at sea and meeting with some of our favorite princesses
