I have to work than take DD to a birthday party

tonight is the Richmond Race so i will be in front of my TV cheering for Kevin

DH and I finished a four mile walk just a minute ago. I now have to get cleaned up and go get my kids, who are at my mom's.

Nothing big today - so it's a good day.

My DH is working the Hurricanes hockey game today so once he's gone in a few minutes I'm heading upstairs to get some swap stuff done. I had the best idea for one of mine last night.

This evening we are running out to our new house and then some Mother's Day shopping. I'm heading to my mom's on Wednesday so that I can go on my sister's field trip Thursday and Friday so I need to be ready.

Working today for me...but I'm working alone, and have lots of down time (mostally just babysitting the room, and answering the phone)...so I think I'm taking some swap stuff in with me, and working on that a little...and reading the bodice ripper that I started last night....

Hi everyone! Happy Saturday! DH & I did our 4-mile walk this morning, and then we are off this afternoon to my brother's graduation banquet. It is beautiful here today!

DH, DS and I went to our local Spring Festival in our town. We just moved here two months ago, and so it was nice to see local businesses and such. Lunch at a little cafe, we'd like to go there again. We're going to go ride around and explore the area in a little while, and hopefully I can talk DH into grilling out for dinner!
