The Weekend Grind ~ 7/13 & 7/14, 2013

Holy Moly!!! What a weekend!!!!

This has by far been the busiest weekend we have had this summer...and from the looks of the calendar it is not going to be any better until October.


Fair started yesterday.... and then we did car shopping... have an appointment tomorrow afternoon to look at another dealership.... I have a list of questions that must be answered and they must meet MY offer... I'm a reasonable negotiator!


Ok, so today:

out to fair to check on Thumper x 2
once over house
talk to DH about my list of questions... he laughs because I asked and want detailed info... (after the last car salesman who was Captain Clueless yesterday that is all it wrote!)
look over list of school supplies and put need list into my purse to purchase when I am out and about.
send off DS17's first college application this afternoon
have DS17 pull his outfits that he wants considered for his senior photos next Sunday.
talk to DS17 about ordering his custom cleats



I know there is more odds and ends but those are the must dos today... .
I need to crank out stuff today because this week is fair stuff all week and the rabbit show is all day plus DS12's friend is showing a goat so he wants to help him get ready for that...

everyone must be supper busy to post this week-end

we had planned to go to the zoo then over to 6 flags but it was raining hard in DFW so we stopped at Central Market (think Whole Foods) picked up a few things then came home - so being bums for the most part

Did see the Lone Ranger last night - why is it getting bad reviews?? I loved it
think I'll buy 2 copies when it goes on DVD - one for me other for James

got my Disney files all upload to Google Drive - hope someone will check that link for me

OK time to play with boys & enjoy the time with them

Just a quick drop in - have been fairly busy this weekend but did manage to watch a couple of movies on PPV.

Ran some errands yesterday, packed for our trip, DH cleaned up and rearranged his man cave and I tidied up the house. Working on laundry now a little scrapping.

We'll be in the air, on our way to Spain this time next week !!
I'm sure I packed way more than needed but it is what it is - HA!

Will check back in tomorrow - hope everyone is having a good weekend - enjoy what's left
