Prayers and pixie dust to all those in need!

Games this weekend again (NCAA Tourney) so I can watch it from the comfort of home! Since I will be working in the scraproom, I will live stream it on DH's computer so my computer can be used for the cricut/silhouette.

Let's see for today:

once over house
boys to put away and clean rooms
ship DH off to the store w/ small list (storm due in tonight/tomorrow up to 10" as of last report... what the heck?!?)
update tournament brackets (Momma still in the lead)
update calendar of events
scrap

I know there is more but DH is talking to me while I'm trying to type.. LOL

morning all

feels llike forever since I've had time to visit and type. I try to stop by for a quick read everyday.

Things are insane around here (more than usual)

today
last laundry pile
find the mud room floor
maybe have a few mins to plan scrap stuff for april with Jen???

tomorrow
make a meal that will last 2 nights......
look for either a few more parttime hours or back to fulltime, i guess nothings going to change like I've been lead to believe

Hope everyone is feeling better and spring can come anytime now this winter weather has messed up sugaring season awful. I almost wonder if we should empty the arch and start over. I don't know if the grade can ever recover from this mess

just have to get things packed up to bring to the party, pick up cake and head over to set up quick before everyone arrives!

will do dinner afterwards with the family.

I laughed at this - not at Megan but the thought of what my parents would had done - Dad believe that only those who aren't virgins could use those, would not hear otherwise if it was that time then us girls didn't get to go in the pool- didn't matter what the party was for
so glad ya'll aren't that way


got laundry going, need to empty dishwasher & get it going again, got 4 pages scrapped plus used a swap page
called Mom - she took the news a lot better than what I thought she would - guess telling her last year that this was happening really helped now that it is going to happen - just got to let sister know but she is at a camp out with boy scouts (plus the boy scouts at rock house)

Reddy it's not an easy decision and no one should try to change what you have decided to do. That said I'm glad she took the news well. I know my cousin seemed to enjoy his "home", why his mother changed her mind and pulled him is beyond the rest of the family. I will keep you all in my prayers for a smooth transition for all of you.

Hello all!!!

Lisa-Poor Megan- she is braver than my dds. They won't try them at all. No fun being a girl sometimes.

Crazy busy like usual!! Only 5 sporting events to attend today. 2 tomorrow depending on weather- hoping the snow misses us. Then b-ball will be over so we should slow down slightly. Dd2 team did secure 1st place today with their league win in basketball though!!!

Hoping for a little down time next week to scrap??? Yeah for spring break!! Have a great weekend ladies.

Just got home from a baby shower for one of DH's cousins. Need to start laundry and cut titles and embellies for pages for tomorrow's crop. I hope no one wants dinner here as Julia and I are stuffed from the shower.

We have over 10 inches of snow here and it is still snowing!

Good evening - guess i should tred lightly when saying this, but...... our snow is nearly 95 % melted. Oh, to see some signs of spring - the robins have been around for a month, even with the cold and snow, my crocuses are in bloom, and the daffodils are about 4-5 inches above ground!
To those getting more snow -there is a light at the end of the tunnel...I hope!!

morning all

guess I'm adding wash sap filters to my list today....... This is a nasty nasty process they get slimy and all the stuff in the lines go into those before they get to the ro and arch. Makes for much cleaner and shinnier syrup but my poor washer........ and you can't use any cleaner on them just water so it will take 4 or more washes to get them clean. I'm on the second one.......

and now we have a hot air baloon landing seee ya

thank you for all the for Megan,after some meds and a warm shower she felt much better and had a great time at her party!

she did well with the you know what's, but doesn't want to use them! will only use them for swimming time!

Oh, poor Megan! I'm not looking forward to one of those days coming at my house. It will be a recital or a pool party, I'm sure!

Been a busy few days. Had a mini "day of beauty" yesterday. Got my hair cut and colored, my eyebrows waxed, and my nails done in a French shellac...I'm hooked! After that, I picked up the rest of the fam and we went to lunch at Cracker Barrel and a whirlwind trip to the outlets.

Vera Bradley outlet - 50% off the lowest price! I got a messenger bag and an attache case (will decide which one I neeeeeeeeeeeeed most and return the other), a wallet, a zippered ID pouch, and another small case for under $100. Well, I had to go back today...because I decided I needed a new handbag for the new job too. Just happened to pick up a few other things too ...When I went to the checkout, I mentioned that I was starting a new job and that I needed a new bag. The girl (she was younger than me, so she's a girl) said "this one?" and when I said yes, she said "I'm going to give it to you for free!" OMG! I got a $60 bag for free! So glad I went back

FIL's 83rd birthday today. Lunch and ice cream cake. Stopped at the grocery store for a few things (need to make lunches every night so I'm not wigging out every morning) and came home to work on laundry. I made myself a new tumbler to bring to work for my water.

Still full from lunch so everyone is fending for themselves. I've picked cereal.

Got to figure out what I'm wearing tomorrow and get that all ready. I'm in orientation for 80% of the day, so I don't need to go super dressy. I'm nervous. But I know it will be great!
