The Weekend Grind 2/8/14-2/9/14

Afternoon everyone!

Can't believe I'm the first to post today! Hope everyone is doing well and staying warm. Just finished tidying up the house and now its time to check email before I scrap a page or two.

Did anyone watch the opening ceremonies last night? Those floor projections were incredible! Love it!

So for the weekend:

Today:
Tidy up house - DONE
Mail out valentines to niece and nephews - DONE
Scrap a couple pages
Dinner tonite out with friends

Tomorrow:
Sweep the front porch
Laundry
Strip bed linens and wash
Scrap

We got up and got our day started early today.. so we are done for the day!

Happy weekend!

DH and I spent several hours cleaning out the basement this morning. Yuck! I mostly worked on the laundry room (catch all room, also), while DH did the main part where his framing table, mat boards, and other framing equipment are. If only I could use those leftover mat pieces to scrap, i wouldn't need to buy paper!

Taco soup in the crockpot for small group dinner
Small group
Finish laundry
Dishes as always
Watch Olympics

Niece's room is complete and she is moved in. It is such a relief to finally have this project finished.

Only thing left for today is dinner. Hoping to catch some of the Olympics.

Been laying low sick

Have some happy news though our special project at be like Brit is complete!! You can see photos on their FB page! It's beautiful ! Seeing Jim's name there forever is bittersweet and amazing at the same time!!
