The week prior to Presidents Day 2004

Are we crazy planning a trip from Feb 10-16th,2004. I have never gone the week before Presidents day and want to know if anything really big goes on then or if the crowds are uglyl. This works out for us with Kids as they are off the three days prior to the Presidents day weekends.

What do you think, anyone else going this time or been there then?

Well Maryland, I'll see you there - I'll be arriving on the 11th of Feb and leaving on the 22nd. If you want to meet, I'll be easy to recognize - "GLUTTON FOR PUNISHMENT" will be written across my forehead!

That said.

It is not the WORST time of the year to go (crowd-wise). No, that was and is Christmas. I know this because I spent the month of Dec. 2002, at WDW (please refer to punishment note above).

Actually, President's week is NOT the worst, although it is the 2nd worst. SOrry, but truth must be told. I haven't done the Pres. week for 10 years, but it's the only time my niece can go so I'm bucking up for it.

Prior to Feb 12th, should be okay - it's the slow season, or rather, the end of the slow/value season.

But you'll have fun! Perhaps we'll run into each other......

We were in WDW the weekend of President's Day this past year (from Thurs-Mon) and we didn't find the crowds bad at all. The only night we had difficulty getting into a restaurant was on Friday night which was Valentine's Day and that might have been why.

We usually go during the slower times of the year and I really didn't think this time was too busy at all, surprisingly.

Of course we did FP for any of the rides that had them because we'd rather not wait in line at all if we can help it

Just make sure to have some PS set for the weekend so you don't run into the problem we did. We had some set but we didn't want to go to those restaurants (we should have after we found that we couldn't get into any of the sitdowns at EPCOT).

As a matter a fact, I'm thinking about doing a trip again that time next year
