The week of Presidents Day at WDW

President's day is the day before Mardi Gras in 2012.

Since my kids have off that week at school I was thinking of going to WDW, however I am not sure of the crowds that week due to Presidents Day.

Are they bad all week or just Sat through Monday then people go home?

Hi there,

That's normally around the time we go. Its also reading week ( Cnd spring break for university's) for my sister around that time. We have been there twice on Presidents day. Got to tell you, the week before isnt too bad. As the weekend approaches ( friday) you can tell its a holiday weekend. We found the other parks were ok on the actual holiday but MK was a sea of Humanity.
For us, we try to go before the craziness of it. This time we were there till the tuesday after the holiday and it seemed to get better.
Next year, we are going earlier. While the weather isnt as nice, its normally not so crowded.
