The we loooooove Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek Part 4

....and because it is a timeshare, occupancy will tend to run high, because most owners will want to use what they own. Bonnet is one of the more popular resorts in the system, so if points are going unused, it is likely some of the less popular resorts who are not getting those guests.

Like any resort or hotel, maximum occupancy is the goal.
Of course. I guess I was thinking more of the noise-making element. Those are more likely to be coming from people renting points on the cheap. OR, and this is probably more likely, they are there because they got one of those "stay for 3 nights for $199" deals for timeshare sales.

Wyndham generally does not put tour promo guests in the timeshare itself. When they do these, they tend to put the guests up in a regular hotel room, all the better to draw the distinction between that and a condo. As far as I know, Wyndham isn't even doing that anymore---it's just a straight incentive to tour.

I typically find timeshare resorts like WBC less noisy than hotels because the population density is much less that a hotel. WBC is mainly 2BR units that are 1,200 square feet. A Disney value hotel room is 260 square feet.

Of course, your mileage may vary based on luck of the draw, but more space and less people is going to be less noisy, usually.

Does anyone know if I can get an extra fold up bed in my suite? I currently have a one bedroom booked for 4 adults, but may need an extra bed for the 4th person. I only book under extra holidays, and they did not have any 2 bedroom availability.

I don't think so, but you can call the resort directly to find out.

To my knowledge they do not offer rollaways in the timeshare portion of the resort (which is where you booked). I agree with @Brian Noble that it doesn't hurt to call to ask though.

Hello everybody! Have my first stay coming up at WBC in a couple months and I have a question. I know the resort is cashless, but do room keys allow for charging to the room at the restaurants and shops? I’m trying to figure out if I my teens need their own debit cards for our trip, or if their room key will work just as well. Thank you!

Room keys do allow charging except for the restaurants that are part of the hotel versus the timeshare. That’s Back Bay Bar & Grille, Deep Blu Seafood, Tesoro Cove, and the Starbucks in the hotel. That can be tricky because Back Bay is one that looks like it’s part of the timeshare section (It’s on the walk around the lake). The rest are all located inside the hotel.

The timeshare restaurants: Poolside Pizza Company, Escudos, and the sandwich shop / Starbucks / lobby shop place can be charged to the room. Escudos has great breakfast and for lunch and dinner is Mexican. Poolside Pizza is a pizza joint and has some limited other Italian offerings. Back Bay is the sit down burger joint place.

The shops and other amenities (again outside the Wyndham Grand) can be charged to the room.

Does anyone know if its possible to get two single nights booked at bonnet creek, have a 23 night vacation coming up and have 3 weeks of certificates for a 2 bedroom deluxe from someone that can only get 7 night blocks, just need first night and last night, only sites I can see that allow one night booking don’t look 100% legit (Super and Travelrepublic). Never had this issue before as I used vacationupgrades (Ken) and a private owner in the past but neither are renting so am looking for alternative. Otherwise will have to grab two nights at the hotel next door which is not convenient.

This is not possible. Owners have a 2 night minimum, so you’re not going to be able to rent one night.

Thank you SO much for those details. That’s exactly what I needed to know. Much appreciated!

Just booked a stay for next June through RCI. I've been checking daily (for what seems like years!) and availability opened up. We stayed at WBC back in 2021, so we're excited to be returning.

I would avoid sketchy sites for WBC in general, just because Wyndham has been cracking down lately. We've also seen a few examples where someone was renting "at Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek" for insanely good prices but with room listing details that do not exist there. Those were definitely not legitimate.

You could get someone to book two nights for you on each end, and just ignore the nights you don't need, but it might be simpler just to do something else.

Yea, I know about the cracking down, been happening on and off since around 2023 when I was last there, thats why vacationupgrades had to stop. Unfortunately two nights on either end would be cost prohibitive on a two bedroom. Couldn’t get the first certificate I have for 1st to 8th (only 31st start, other date sold out) where as the two other weeks I had a choice of 7th/8th and 14th/15th start dates and this is what has created this situation.

Call or email extraholidays.com, explain your situation and dates needed, and maybe they can do something for you.

We arrive on Saturday around noon. I know check in time isn’t until 4pm, but was wondering if they would check us in earlier so that we could use the pool area while we waited for our room to be ready? Has anyone done this before?
If not I won’t bother putting our swim stuff in our carryons and we will just go to Disney Springs.

Yes, you can definitely use the pool and amenities while you wait for your room to be ready. You will check in at the desk when you arrive and they will give you wrist bands that you can use right away. They will text you when your room is ready. There are also showers in the restrooms and changing areas if you need them. Have fun!

Is the shuttle just for hotel guests or has anyone had any luck using it to get to the parks?
