Monday 25th August
We wake up on Monday Morning and cant believe we are still in the UK arghh.
Pete and I get ready first as it is 3.30am in the Morning. The older two boys did really well and had got themselves up and ready ( why is it never that easy on a school morning?)
Make sure we pack up all our suitcases and make our way to check in.
We have to stand in a long queue for a very long time, virgin have to delay the check in time as they have to swop all passenger seat details onto the different plane and the configeration is not the same.
People are getting very annoyed as we cannot understand why they havent done this before now.
A senior virgin Lady comes down and tries to placate everybody and DH tries a different approach, instead of shouting, he calmly explains to the lady what he would like to happen the main point being he would like to change our return date free of charge, she agrees to this and tells us to head to the ticket desk asfter check in and she will sort it for us. woohoo, way to go hubby
To cut a long story short we eventually got checked in and were given £15 each in meal vouchers for Breakfast, offered 12500 miles each and got our return date changed to the 16th of September free of charge.
So we had breakfast in frankie and Bennys again starting to feel a little bit like Ground hog day .
The flight is sheduled for for 9.30 so we should be in florida around 1.30 yahoo
So we are eventually called to our gate we hand over our boarding passes and suddnley the senior virgin lady calls DH over, my heart sinks oh no what now has she had a sudden change of heart.
She asks hubby how many in his Party he says 5 and she says Sir I am upgrading you all to Premium economy
This was very exciting as we have always flown economy so we couldnt wait to see how the other half travel.
We Boarded and shown up to the Bubble. Kieran was so excited as the cockpitdoor was open and he could see the Pilots doing all their checks etc.
our welcome Drink was served and very much appriciated
we couldnt belive
the amount of leg room we had.
Premium economy was great and we hope to fly that way again someday.
Flight was uneventful and we landed in Orlando on time, with all the various delays in getting to start this holiday, Jordans Broken arm, cancelled flights etc we were sooo excited to get there and had an amazing holiday as a result as we were all like big Kids.
we got through immigration quickly and went down to car hire collected our seven seater mini van and then we left the airport
outside the airport
this week we are staying in a hotel by Universal I think it was called Holiday Inn express nearest universal (free Hubbys loyalty points again) as the villa wasnt available for the first week of our holiday.
Checked in dumped our bags. Beds are a bit small but we manage made a mental note to check bed size before booking again, these tured out to be doubles instead of king size or queen.
Headed down to the pool for a quick swim this was great after so long in airports and on planes.
We had dinner at Sizzler (yuk I didnt like this at all, the boys did)
then we went to Downtown Disney and Bought our MNSSHP tickets for the 9th of September
very tired at DTD
we had a quick look around then headed back to the hotel we watched weather on the 8's then sorted out sleeping arrangements two eldest shared
double sofa bed Kieran spent two nights on a rollaway then shared with me

The hotel was just basic motel accomadation no frills very pleasant helpful staff.
sleeping arrangements here were not fantastic but we didnt mind too much as we didnt have to Pay.
