The Way too Late but Way to Awesome Not To Report-NEW* 10/10* An Almost Empty Epcot -

Wow! What a great TR! You have an absolutely beautiful family. I'm really enjoying reading all about your trip - keep it coming!

I'm so glad your DD was able to get through the line and ride ToT! That is my favorite ride in all of Disney!!!

Denise

Hey CM,
Just wanted to report that DS didn't get the job at Target. :sad1: He was really upset. He applied now at the local grocier by us they are building a new store. Hopefully he will find something.

Still loving your report! :goodvibes

Hi! Sorry to hear that your son didn't get the job. My DS had gone for 2 interviews with the local rec league to umpire little league baseball games. The guy basically told him he had the job and to purchase all this equipment (face mask, chest protector, shin guards, hat, shirt, pants, belt, shoes, and socks) and then today tells him he has no more openings.  I was mad. Thank goodness I had not purchased all that stuff or I would have been extremely ticked! I think my DS isn't really old enough, he just turned 15. Anyway, what a disappointment for him. I guess our DSs will just have to take the "Hang in there" approach...things will improve. Right?!:confused3 :thumbsup2

Hope you have a great week!
TTFN,
Darlene

Yes, she did it! We all love the ToT ... or should I say "Tower of Drop".

This is cute! We may have to do that with little Bella and make it look like she really is flying away. Those balloons probably would carry that little peanut away!

The picture of Remy in the jar makes me nuts! I'm so claustrophobic, so I can't watch that part of the movie. I just have to go away until he is out!

Looks like the kids were having great fun! I'm looking forward to more pictures and stories.

Time for dinner...

Now we were off to the 50’s PTC. I love this place..so fun and we have found the food to be really good too! :thumbsup2I should say that our friends, although fun, are not as loud and talkative as we tend to be. We would probably totally embarrass them if we hung around too long. We love the crazy CMs at the 50’s and all that involves but we are not so sure they feel the same.

A few pics of our appetizers…I love the fried herbed cheese with fruit…yumm! I am not 100% sure but I think it is no longer available which is too bad.

The 50’s is the home to the Peanut Butter and Jelly Milkshake. If you like p’nut butter you really should try it. It definitely tastes better than you would think. Although it is rich – it is not an overwhelming taste. They told me if I didn’t like it I could get something else.

All of the kids got milkshakes for their drinks…

Sibling love…can’t you just see it?

I am not sure why I didn’t take pictures of our entrees but I didn’t. Our waitress was fantastic and kept after us to eat our food and clean our plates. She was not over the top but she was consistent in her badgering us to eat.
Bryton took her serious. She was really stressing him out.

Somehow…I did remember to take pics of the yummy desserts (or at least some)….
The kids ice cream sundae

Dad’s super Sundae…

Some sort of cake with berries…

As we were finishing up our desserts Bryton started talking about how he didn’t feel well. Next thing we knew he was out the door. The poor kid got sick from eating so much. Like I said he was taking the waitress seriously and he ate and drank everything!!!..appetizer, milkshake, entrée, dessert.
That is a lot of food, especially for a 10 year old. After he got rid of it though, he felt much better.

We made our way to the line for Fantasmic. It was slow and steady to the amphitheater.

Although it was very full it wasn’t terrible. We managed to get great seats.
Not to close but definitely not too far either.

The finale ….

We then wandered around doing some window shopping…

Awesome update. But, I feel so bad for Bryton getting sick! I'm glad he felt better afterwards, but the poor guy. :sad2:

The "sibling love" picture... :lmao: That is such a classic picture; I love the difference in their expressions!

Hi Megablocks,

Yes, we all felt bad for Bryton...but he simply over ate. He didn't seem to think it was too bad...he certainly got over it quickly. :confused3

Thanks so much for posting! I think you are my only reader:sad2:.

Hey, wait a minute now! I'm reading.
I can't see the pictures right now because I am school getting ready for Open House. I should be doing about ten other things, but I'm checking in to the DIS. ;)

I'll look at them when I get home tonight or in the morning, depending on how long we're here. When I have the knee surgery next week, I plan to do little other than sit around and Dis! :)

I hate that we are going to miss you guys by one little day on our October trips!!! I could stay the whole week, but Jill could only get three days to put with the weekend, since she took a ten day this summer and we have a week booked at Christmas.

We've been to Prime Time and have enjoyed it. When I was little, my house looked pretty much like the inside of Prime Time - the cookie jars and knick-knacks and all the furniture, etc.

Hey CM,
I'm still here reading as well. :goodvibes Love all the pictures. You have such a fun family.

Good new on the job front for my DS! Months ago he applied at our corner local grocery store. When out of the blue they called him! Well my son now has a job!:cool1: And it's perfect its real close to home that he could walk or ride his bike or drive his car. (hmmm... what option do you think he'll take??? :rotfl:) He starts next week. Very excited for him!

Poor Bryton...gotta love a rule-follower though!!! I love your window shopping pictures!

Denise

Poor Bryton!! I have a feeling the waitress would have felt terrible if she would have realized what happend.

Lol at your sibling love picture. Sums up big sibling/little siblings exactly!!!

I've been reading from work, but I can't post. Woo hoo to al the magic for Bryton!! I've been dreaming of fish and chips from CHH. Two weeks and two days and they will be MINE!

Sorry, I have read along, but haven't had time to post. I'm so glad your son got dumped with pixiedust:

Sorry Bryton ate too much. Although he looked good in that last picture.

And why is it that all the cute shirts are in kids sizes only!!!

Your son is looking at you like "mom please take this picture quick so she will get out of my FACE!!!" :rotfl2:

I'm glad you have come back to finish this one Darlene. It is enjoyable!!

Oh, I hate we are missing each other too! :guilty: :sad2: We'll just have to keep trying...

Cool! Do you still have any of that stuff? I love all of that retro stuff.

Thanks again for reading MeMom. Hope you are having a good day. You're in my thoughts and prayers for the 9th! :flower3:
