The Wave

I don't remember the drinks but the food was good. It was above average but not outstanding, in my opinion. I would eat there again given the chance.

We had flights of Savangion Blanc....food was delicious. I had an Artic Char that was a special & DH had a short rib special. We shared lettuce cups as an appetizer.
We would go back & we are tough to please.

Sounds great. We are going to check out The Wave in January. We were going to try this past Oct with one of our friends, who is very picky, but he wouldn't go for it. Can't wait to give it a try. Sounds like the specials of the evening are the way to go...which is usually what my DW and I like to order anyway. Thanks for the review:)

Went there for dinner in November. It was a last minute choice for us. We had no reservations and just had a drink at the bar for a few minutes and the table was ready.

Beautiful space (the old arcade if I'm not mistaken). Nice light wood colors and blue accents. The menu is more or less a west coast continental style. I had the Flank Steak which was cooked to perfection. Service was exceptional. The night we were there, it did not seem to be as loud and boisterious as California Grill.

The Wave is a great alternative to California Grill. I would recommend those with families to dine at The Wave as it seems to have a little more of a straight forward menu.

I had a funky margarita there (with organic mixers, they said) and it was good. And huge. They serve it in something that's almost a bowl.

Food was tasty and I will be posting pics later this week. DS had the lamb shank and Dh and I both had filet with fingerling potatoes. Steak was excellent but Dh was not happy that it was only 6 oz. with a few fingerlings. He said that was not a man sized meal lol

We just got back and ate there last week and the food was great. It was nice to get out of the parks and have a quiet meal because it is not very crowded there. We were there for lunch and I got some sort of Spicy chicken salad and it was very good (not spicy at all, but very good) and the milkshakes were WONDERFUL! I got vanilla and my husband got chocolate and they were both delicious! Once I get our pictures uploaded I am going to post the pictures on the food porn thread, so check there later this week :)

I agree. Food was really good, but dh left still hungry and he is not a real big eater.

I was relatively unimpressed. I was traveling with two picky eaters. The food was at best, just ok. There were very limited/no options available to make the food less "fussy". This is not the kind of place to go for comfort food. It's more of that faux healthy stuff. It's healthy-ish until you salt and condiment it to death to make it taste like something.

Service was great. Alcoholic beverages were to die for. Nice wine selections. Phillip, Janice, & Bruice were the standouts.

My fam was at the Wave for breakfast in September and we liked it. (fantastic hot chocolate) Since it's still kinda new it was easy to get in with no waiting... was quiet and has beautiful design elements.
