The Wave or Flying Fish?

Short trip, need 1 dinner ADR for a non-park day. Would you choose The Wave or Flying Fish? We haven’t been to either and have never been to the BW area, which I thought would be fun to explore. I love scallops and gnocchi, DH loves all surf and turf, picky teen will be fine with kid’s menu. Originally was going to do FF on our non-park day and then fit in The Wave the next day while at MK, but thinking we may want to use the time for rides instead. Which would you choose?

Flying Fish hands down! Especially if you’ve never visited the Boardwalk! It’s a fun place to poke around for a bit before or after dinner.

The Wave is good and underrated, but Flying Fish is special.

We ate at both last November: our fourth trip to The Wave, our second to Flying Fish. The Wave excels at no-nonsense lunch served fresh; it's consistently solid. We three had salads and a lovely bottle of white wine. Service was excellent. You won't need a reservation most times of the year -- the restaurant was half full the Friday after Thanksgiving -- but it never hurts, especially when 200 conventioneers invade the premises at noon.

Flying Fish, though, is a special meal.
