The Wave- how is it?

How is the wave? Is it comparable to any other places in disney? thanks!

We stayed at the Contemporary in 2009 and ate at the Wave for dinner one night. We really enjoyed it! I had the sustainable fish and it was wonderful. I don't remember what DH had, but I do remember that he enjoyed it. It's a very modern atmosphere. We would go back!

Our family loved the Wave! I could have made a meal out of the bread they put on the table..it was really wonderful.

We had lunch there and we LOVED it. DH had a great burger and I had the best Reuben that I have ever had anywhere. I would highly recommend it if you haven't tried it yet.

We did a last minute trip last year and needed an earlier ADR for dinner (we were heading over to MNSSHP) The Wave was the only ressie we could get at the last minute that was close to the MK. I wasn't really excited about it, but after we were finished with our meal I was pleasantly surprised!!! The service was great, the food was awesome and the atmosphere was terrific!!! We told the waitress that we were in a bit of a hurry and she made every attempt to accommodate our request...she did get our drink and food order at the same time. Before we were finished eating, she even brought us our bill and said she would go ahead and take care of it so we could get out quicker. This is certainly a place that I would return. The food is prepared in a healthier way...but was really good.

We have gone to disney a bunch of times- usually do the deluxe dining and have had dinner almost everywhere! Wave was our VERY favorite on our last trip- BEST service I have ever had in Disney- the place looked really cool- BY FAR BEST MEAL! We will be having dinner there again next week! I hope it is just as good!

We have eaten Lunch and Breakfast at the Wave, both were excellent experiences! Our Lunch was in April of 2010, DD had GF Mac n Cheese and she loved it! We had B-fast during Christmas week, they had a buffet for the holidays and it was not like any Buffet on property, It was so fresh and so GOOD!. Keylime Eggs Benidict, French Press pot of Coffee. Oh and Chef Dylan was over the top accomidating our DD's allergy. You will have a great time and great food, enjoy!

I'm really glad to read all the positive reviews. My husband and I are going in July for a 2nd honeymoon (1st trip there without kids) and we have decided on The Wave.

Also our favorite meal of our July trip...beef tenderoin was yum. Service was the best we had all week. Loved the dessert trios.

It's the first ADR I'll make for any upcoming trips.
