I was going through the posts of the new Contemporary Resort, and came across mention of a new TS restaurant there, called The Wave. It was supposed to be open last summer. Anyone know anything about it?:confused3

We had lunch there two weeks ago and it was wonderful. DH had soup and a veggie sandwich, I had the spiced chicken salad. Everything was delicious and super fresh tasting, and the staff from the greeters to our server was charming.

We would definitely return.

we have not eaten there, but plan to on our next trip, but it's supposed to be pretty good. from what i hear, it's american food with an international touch, whatever that means! we walked past it on the way to check in for the Cali Grill and the enterance looks really cool!

We've eaten there twice. The food and service were both good. It fits the theming for the CR well and the location is great. The menu is different compared to other restaurants on property.

We really didn't care for this restaurant. The food was at best ok to us. We don't eat like this at home or when we go out typically.

The food was fresh, but usually on the bland side. I would not go back, unless I was going to their bar.

We ate there on our September trip and absolutely loved it. Had just been meaning to check it out and found that it was one of the top meals of our trip.

Make sure to have the mini-desserts. Loved 'em and the service.

We had breakfast their two weeks ago. We were on the Deluxe meal plan and let me tell you, usually their is no appitizor with breakfast well their is at the WAVE. It was a huge fruit plate it was amazing. the coconut smoothie was wonderful. My husband is still talking about the multi grain muffins. We had eggs benedict and one of the petit steaks and it was amazing! I am not one for eggs benedict usually but it was really really good. My mil had the omlet and she said it was really good and she said the Danish was great as well. I highly recommoned it we plan on eating their again on another trip as it was added to our list of must do places to eat.

We ate there in September, on the DlxDP. We LOVED it. Best place we ate at all week. The atmosphere was fabulous--quiet--the service was outstanding. Admittedly, the menu is a bit small, but everything was delicious. We highly recommend it.

From what I've read that they don't serve anything that was not produced less than 200 miles from the resort, or something like that.

We ate there Dec 14 and it is probably the best onsite dining meal we have had. Our past experiences include Cal Grill, Citricos and Le Cellier. I had a roasted tomato soup and filet. My daughter had the salmon. The filet was one of the best i've ever had, fork tender. Our reservation was at 8:15. I mention this because timing can sometimes affect service perceptions. The restaurant had quieted down by then and we received great service.

Have had dinner there 2x since they opened & both times we were really happy with the food & service.
Both times we started with the lettuce cups & ordered specials for entrees.
Very nice wine selection & specialty flights.

I ate there right after it opened and the service was very spotty. Maybe they were just trying to get their act together but nonetheless I was not impressed. The food was very good though.

Really the biggest complaint I have is that there is no Disney theming at all. This could be a restaurant anywhere in the US. No windows, no nuthin. I guess would much rather spend my hard-earned $$ somewhere else.

We had supper there, last minute, on our trip. No problem getting seated. The food was very strange. It wasn't bad...really...it was just very different. I am from Mississippi and really like normal, Southern cooking...and this was sort of ... I don't know ... different? My steak was good, though!

One member of our party hated what they had and got their money back. So, they will work with you, if you don't like it.

I would just ask a lot of questions if I ate there again (but we wouldn't)...
