We will be staying at BLT the second week of November, and are planning to get ADRs for the Wave for dinner one night. However, if we don't have ADRs for the Wave for breakfast or lunch will it be possible to go for one of those meals spur of the moment or is that just impossible?

I think you should be ok for breakfast or lunch. You may have to wait a bit at breakfast as the buffet seems to be attracting more morning diners. We've been going to breakfast there for the past 2 yrs and it was always very quiet until our last trip last month. Our server said since they added the buffet at breakfast it has gotten busier.

I think lunch at most of the resort restaurants is doable without ADRs because so many people are already at the parks or the pool.;)

I was able to get reservations for dinner the same day at The Wave during our December trip (during the really busy weeks), and we almost went a second time (and would have been able to get a table). Granted, most people did not have free dining that week, but I don't think The Wave fills as quickly as many of the other restaurants. People are really missing out though - it is an incredible restaurant.

Have been told by The Wave to call them directly or stop in if the dining line has issues making a same-day reservation. Particularly at lunch there are always plenty of tables. Breakfast used to be pretty empty too though we have not been since the opening of the buffet.
