The Walt Disney World Annual Passes Open for Sale

Hi.
I am getting ready to purchase the IncrediPass and Sorcerer's Pass.
Is below all correct for APs:

*I still need to make ressies at my first park.
*I need to make a ressie at the second park if I want to hop. With AP, do I still need to go anytime after 2:00 pm or can it be anytime?
*What happens if I want to visit 3-4 parks on the same day?

If I am not sure I want to go to a second park, can I come back to my resort (BWVs) and see if, for instance, MGM is open at that moment and book? (For instance, can I book a park an hour or so out that I want to go to if it is available)?

I will be staying onsite and DVC. However the IncrediPass that my mom will purchase will be used both onsite and then a trip in February where she will be offsite. Does above still work the same?

Thank you so much!
Ressies required for first park, not required for hopping. All hopping after 2. Make sure your mom makes ressies as an AP resort guest for the first trip, so she can book her park passes for her offsite stay from the regular allotment
ETA- no limit on number of parks you can hop to

I did mine at Disney springs. Originally they said I would lose them within 24 hours and even guest services said there was nothing that could be done. However I still see them
That's great!!! You do all the work to plan and get them and that would suck to lose them.

A theme park reservation is only required for your first park of the day. Hopping can occur after 2pm, pending capacity availability (which to-date has never been denied).
Thank you very much! So I just need to have one park reservation, per day.

Yes, my mom will be with me for our November trip so we will use the AP or resort guest allotment.
For my mom for February, she can make park ressies under the AP bucket, is that correct too?

Thank you so much!

You can make or change a pass day of before entering any park, as long as it's available. After 2 for any hopping. Also, you always need a reservation for the first park you enter, even if it's after 2 and you must enter the park you have reserved before you can hop. For example, you can't reserve AK and then just decide to go to Epcot after 2 without either changing the park pass to Epcot or going to AK first and then hopping to Epcot.

There is a new AP park reservation site that will let you choose the option to reserve a park as an AP with a resort stay. You can reserve for the entire length of stay and it won't count as part of your regular AP reservation allotment. Your mom can then use her regular AP allotment for February

Oh, thank you. Your post is very helpful to me!
So, when you have a resort stay, that does NOT count as an allotment of 5 days. Is that correct? Is 5 days correct?
I have nine nights booked (I will have Sorcerers/my mom Incredi) with my mom at BWVs. Can I book nine days in parks if I just want to go and eat dinner or have a drink?

For my mom's offsite, can she only book five days of parks? Is that correct?

Thank you so much for all your help!

Thank you for walking me through the steps! Thank you.
How many days out can you book a park reservation for offsite guests?

Thanks.

5 days for Sorcerer or Incredipass. Length of ticket for non pass holders

Actually a couple hours on the afternoon of July 4th magic Kingdom in Epcot were blocked for hopping. So going forward I would expect the typical holiday when pre-covid you couldn't enter for a while you probably can't hop then for example New Year's Eve or on the 50th itself to magic Kingdom

Am I correct in understanding that you only need to add the Memory Maker to one annual pass for your family? On the website, it was automatically added to all passes, so I wanted to make sure. Assuming you only need one, I guess I'll do two separate transactions so that I can add it to only one pass.

So if you upgrade from regular ticket to AP, and you are a resort guest, you should be able to keep all of your previously booked park reservations? Nothing will get cancelled? :scared:

Yes you only need one but they will add them all automatically so you should do separate transactions.

The CM I spoke to on the phone today when I called to remove my park tickets from my package said that as long as I had my AP linked to my account, the park reservations would stay. I wasn’t worried, because I’d already redone all the reservations in the new system, but it was nice of her to tell me how to keep my old ones.

Yes, as long as you don't have block-out dates in there.

Still trying to decide what the best plan of attack to upgrade is for me. We have park reservations Sept 24-27. We are staying off site and have a party of 7 in MDE. I would like to upgrade before going so that I can take advantage of free parking at the parks and any discounts. But also worried about losing the reservations. Also, not looking forward to having to be on hold for hours.

Can only pay with one gift card per transaction so will have to call at some point. Super frustrating. If someone knows how to do it with more than one, pls let me know!
You can transfer the amounts from all your gift cards to one card. That should give you enough to pay.
