Happy Monday!!!
Today's walk started out great! I was energetic, I had on show tunes, I was having a full on production out there including some dancy moves with a lot of lip synching (because I don't want to wake the neighborhood)...and then I felt the early signs of some discomfort issues. I got myself home just before mile 3...took some meds...had a quick drink and got back out there. I didn't feel bad but I knew I wouldn't make it if I didn't take some added precautions. I also didn't want to stray as far from home. In any event, got in 6.03 miles. It was not my normal route. In fact, I was just walking anywhere close enough to home to get it done while also being close enough in case I needed to dash back. On the plus side, I got our school's cross country team on my route vs. the other high school in town AND I saw DD17 on her drive to school. She was up late working on her physics project with her team (annual cardboard boat contest that's held in the school's pool), so I know she was probably tired.

This was the first pic I took. Super blurry. Had planned to delete it if I got some good pics down at the lake. It was looking like a great sunrise today, but I didn't want to slow my pace or stop that early in. Sadly...this is the only thing I captured of sunrise today. So, I kept it...blurriness and all.
