The waitlist fairy strikes again!

We have been sooooooooooo lucky with waitlists during our membership. This year we found out too late the dates we wanted to do food and wine fest so we were only able to book Nov 12th in a BWV studio standard. Eventually our waitlist for Nov 13th came through. Then we decided we wanted to stay the 11th as well... that had been waitlisted for months and it just came through! 3 nights at BWV during the last weekend of F&W... and 2 of them came through due to waitlists.

So if you are waiting... have faith!

What resort/size/view did you waitlist?? We waitlisted one of the smallest categories and got it so my fingers are crossed for you!!

Us too! We had 3 wait lists come through for October of this year. We had a couple of BWV preferred view rooms we wanted to be standard that came through. We had a night at OKW that we wanted to get at BWV and it came through. Then, due to an add on, we had points we needed to use so tried to change a BLT studio to a 1BR and that just came through for 2 nights.

All in Oct. of this year. We're very lucky, too.

Hooray! We're hoping our waitlist comes through too. We originally had a trip planned for the last week of August, unfortunately, my mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer AND Hurricane Irene hit us here in NJ. We had to end up cancelling our 1-bedroom at BLT. We were so disappointed but knew it was the right thing to do.

My mom will not start chemo until November so we have a short window to re-book and were lucky enough to get a room at SSR, but we waitlisted our 1-bedroom at BLT hoping that something comes through. You give me hope!

I'm on a WL for a 2 BR at OKW [since we'll be in one on the 10th] and a second one for a 1 BR at Kidani [since we'll be there on the 12th]. Actually, I'm hoping to get the 2 BR at OKW for both the 11th and 12th to keep from moving any more than necessary. I've been calling sporadically but will become extra vigilant in the under-30 day mark.

It is great to hear of your success in such a choice spot. Hopefully, I'll get to say the same!

Congrats! Waitlist fairy likes us too! We had a 2 bed BW view at BWV for Jan 27-feb 3 and we were waitlisted for BLT lake view 2 BD dedicated. We found out a week ago we got it!!!!!!!!!!!!

No luck here. I have been on the WL for a 2BR at BWV for about 9 months. We now have a split stay--3 days at OKW then move to BWV. I dont think the WL will come through, but we like OKW so I am okay with it. I just dont like moving day!!!

Reading your post today prompted me to look at our dvc account online, and sure enough, our waitlist for the 1 bdrm ak kidani came through!!!

Our WL came through for a treehouse villa at SSR in 2 weeks!!! YAY!!!

My waitlist came through!!!!! I found out today when MS sent me an email, telling me of my reservation. I was a little puzzled because I already knew about the reservation, didn't I? Then I checked and woo-hoo, there it was - 1 bedroom at Kidani for the night of November 11th!
