The "volunteer" in the Horror Makeup Show...where was yours from???

Last time we were at the show, the lady was from Quebec and spoke very little English. The time before, the lady was Oriental and spoke very little English.

Anyone else experience this same scenario? Can you almost pick out the "volunteer"???

I have probably been to this show 35-40 times.The last 25 I have picked out 2 possible volunteers and been right every time so far.They are usually someone from another country.I think a big reason for this is that their is a lot smaller chance they have ever seen the show so they will give better reactions to the "scares".

We saw the show twice this past weekend and in the first show it was a young Asian girl who didn't speak much english (she was really funny) and the second time it was an older retired woman from NJ (she was just OK, I think she had seen the show before).

This was the first time we had actually took the time to see the show and we all loved it.

We might have been at the same show. The lady was Fiona (Ogre version) size and was with some other ladies that were slow? When Mark James (bearded) threw the leg when running from Eddie it was intended for my son, who couldn't catch it. That was the first time I've been there when I felt the volunteer had seen the show previously. I bet the guys in the booth scout the pre-show for the volunteer. Have you ever seen a volunteer who refuses to do it? I remember back in the day they would pick a man.
You are right, Damo. We usually bet on who will be chosen and also who will get wet in the front row. I've always been able to get the one that gets wet. If fact I told a guy once that his girl was going to get wet and she did.
It was funny a couple of weeks ago when the female Alex Ross came out my daughter leaned over and said, "Oh, she had her baby."

When we went in March they picked a very pretty woman from up North. They couldn't scare her no matter what they did.

When we went in April they had a lady from Central/West Florida -- don't remember exactly where, but she was kinda blah up there!

We have seen the show 4x, and one time it was an Asian lady, one time it was a Latina lady (neither volunteer spoke English), and the other 2x, the "volunteers" were ladies on the upside of senior (at least they had gray hair).

No way! Really? I used to say that to my husband but each time its always someone else and we have been lots of times. There was this one time years ago that we did see the same woman twice in one day and that got me thinking it may be planned. But, each show since has always been someone else how could that be?

It is Just an amazing coincidence that every show a person is picked at random and it is always a foreign speaking woman....Sure..

P.S. I read it in a Guidebook also. Go sell crazy somewhere else
