Can't do a whole lot with just 50 direct. But I suppose if they are being added onto other direct points, it makes sense.

We have no direct. So to me, it wouldn't be very wise to buy 50 direct at VGC prices.

Unless you get 50 VGC and 100 VDH later… getting to 150 DVC-Y.

I still don't know if that's worth it for us because 100 VDH wouldn't be enough for 1-bedroom stays, I don't think. We're still thinking of adding 75-100 resale VGC eventually. Or 150 direct VDH. Time will tell.

I think you’re correct with a 3rd DVC resort as a part of Disneyland Forward. I hope it’s in the Downtown Disney area. I think that was the proposed location that the city put the axe too. Wonder what theme DVC would do? I could see it being Marvel or something related to one of the new lands.

My guess would be over at Garden Walk if they build there.

I'd think the Toy Story Lot would be more likely since hell would have to freeze over before Disney buys The Gardenwalk. Though the JW Marriott was apparently zoned for timeshares too.

I was actually thinking about that this morning. As more resorts get built and 2042 approaches, things will definitely get squeezed in the future. But that’s a long way off!

Yeah, the refurb was totally awful, unbearable even. Everybody should stay far far far away, take your points and use them at VDH, it so new and bright and shiny.

My guide called me this morning, I missed his call. When I called him back he said he was calling because he had more VGC points. By the time I called back he said they were gone, but I did tell him he can take me off the must call list for VGC. See I AM outgrowing my addonitis

I think you discovered you like WDW as well this year and the point diversification at BWV will make you very happy. $330pp is a lot when they didn’t go all the way on the remodel.
