So dangerous! I haven't checked out all the new stuff this year. But every year, we spend too much on ornaments! Our tree is so full.

Absolutely! We will also rotate them out as decorations throughout the year….

How heavy would you say there are? I'm guessing there more for the lower branches that puppy tails can easily swat off lol

They are all pretty light, no issues going higher up on a tree.

I didnt know there was a terrace at vgc to watch World of Color, where is it? Is that the best place to see it? I have reservations later this year and have given up on getting a theme park view

6th floor you have to be staying there and I think it is better view in the park myself

Agreed, the view from the terrace is a side view at best.

Agree with others - best views are in the park. The terrace is off to the side at best. Music is piped in.

I have had rooms many times that face the parks at VGC. Unless you are on the 5th (and maybe 4th) floor, you may not see very much of WOC. It is definitely better to watch WOC in the parks. And those rooms can get noisy very early. I swear they start running the silly symphony swings with its loud between 6-6:30 AM. Have woken up to it many times. Oh sometimes, they will run WOC during the middle of the night (with no music that I can tell) --- i always assume that is for new shows or testing --- we have had that happen more than once.

I cant use Hallmark ornaments on my trees because we go out in the woods and fresh cut our tree and the branches are too weak typically. Once Spiderman's head fell off due to falling out of the tree we stopped, they are too expensive. But these I would actually use a shelf decorations.

They do make great shelf-decorations! Not as nice as the Storybook ornaments from Disney, but the lights, sounds, and movement on the Hallmark ornaments are pretty neat.

Yikes I really, really liked the redwoods view we got last time, maybe I should stick with that if offered not a fan of Mariposa pool view

Last time we went to Disney World brought a bunch of ornaments home and some broke i was heart broken. This time I will make sure that they use that cardboard casing or its a no go

The only ornament I bought at Disney was at Aulani and I for sure made sure to get one in the box with cardboard. Made it home fine

So if anyone is looking for VGC for tomorrow through Friday, keep checking the member site. I had to last minute cancel my reservations --- my mom has been moved to hospice and while I live close - I want to be at home since it is closer to where she is if I need to get to her quickly.

DVC was wonderful. The member services agent said he would get my points taken out of holding due to the situation which is so nice and will allow me to bank them. Can't ask for better than that. Only 4 previously banked points on the reservation and it risk.

I am sad about cancelling but far more upset about my mom and want to be with her. So if anyone is able to pick up the nights, have fun for me...
