Re: OBB merch, we saw the spirit jersey outside the store next to the river rafting ride on November 1. I thought, hmm, my kids would wear these as night gowns, I wonder how big the discount is? No sale at all.

On SJ? ALWAYS size down is what I have found…. but everyone’s body shape can be very different

Actually I was looking at the Baseball Jersey, they show XL is 46 or 48, & when i measure, 47 is snug, so I'm thinking XL would be tight if it fits a 46. But i dont wear anything in XXL, so im worried it'll fit like a sleeping bag. lol

Couple of random thoughts I’ve had regarding VGC.

Does anyone worry that they might seriously cheap out on the referb swing as how this is the only resort they don’t sell points for?

I kind of wonder what would happen if Disney decided to convert more rooms at VGC to DVC. Would they be a part of the same association and have the same tax deal as us… or would the rooms have to be a new association with tax rules similar to VDH… could Disney legally change our contracts to be like VDH in order to add more DVC?

I don’t think they can do that. Contracts are written, but I guess they could have some options.

Yes, but:

1) I really don’t want them to make that many changes. So a refresh of the couch and beds, appliances that work, replace the carpet, put in a new shower head…. I’m good…

2) The Disneyland FWD agreement locks them into building NEW hotels and timeshare rooms, NOT converting current rooms.

3) Grand Cal does great on the hotel side.

4) They sell some direct points. I purchased 97 earlier in the year.

I’ve never been a fan of SJ. For one thing, living in SoCal long sleeves have a short season, and it’s often quite hot when I visit WDW too. However, my quirk is that I like to wear Disneyland gear at WDW and vice-versa, and I really liked the design of the DL SJ with the letters representing characters. So I bought that (but went to WDW in Sept., much too hot!) and still haven’t worn it. At WDW I was unable to resist a V-neck SJ, as I’d never seen one before It’s maroon with metallic gold lettering, and I thought it’s Christmassy. Hope it cool enough to wear it at DL in 2 weeks!

I feel like at night it cools down enough to wear a SJ or light pullover/zip up.

Agree with these points— I also think if they flipped more (somehow) it would be its own association like CCV and BRV, because it’s a resort where they can sell high despite resale restrictions— then again that might have been my guess about PVB, so don’t take my hunch for it.

I would modify though that the shower heads have been fine but I would love to see some more lighting in the room, ESPECIALLY task lighting, and a few more usb outlets.

In one of the Facebook groups. Someone said they were at VGC in September and stayed in a 1-bedroom. They said it didn't have a pull out couch. It was just a regular couch. They were there with 3 adults and a child. They said the child slept on the small murphy and then the 3rd adult just slept on the regular couch.

Has anyone heard of a 1-bedroom NOT having a pull out couch?!
