Remind me, if I walk a reservation, do I have to get up at 7am every single morning to add another day?

I have never walked the reservation at 7am because I have enough days booked out to where I know no other people can get it.

I know it's wishful thinking, but I do wish they'd do away when them in June. I'd love to visit DLR in early June instead of late June but grad nights keep me from ever doing it.

Ehh I don’t know. There was one grad night going on when I was there in early May. It doesn’t seem like it affected my experience to much. They also had some goth day thing going on one day… seems like the parks were more busy that day honestly. With that said I’m going a week earlier next year.

We had a terrible experience. We don’t like paying to ride RSR, so we decided to go later one evening before DCA closed. The CM was telling some of the kids who entered the standby line that they would not be able to meet up with their party/ expressly said “no meet ups.” So there was a group of maybe five grads in front of us. We watched as one-by-one several did exactly what they weren’t supposed to do. They ended up letting maybe seven people join up with him. Very annoying when they are expressly told that they can’t do that. And we watched as another guy tried to sneak in another way… Maybe through the lightning lane. But he was busted as he tried to come over since he knew that he would not be able to scan in to the lightning lane. Not sure how he did it other than to start off in standby and then wait until he didn’t see a CM and then just walk through the lightning lane and then sneak over to also join the people in front of us. A CM did stop him but didn’t do anything to all the other kids who had joined. They were very loud and obnoxious. We had a terrible 70 minute wait in line with them. We won’t be going back during May or June because of grad nights. I hate this for our family because it is the best time of year for us to go and we love the weather. But I’m not putting up with a bunch of loud, obnoxious, self involved kids. Another night, we were sitting at Tropical Hideaway where we had carried our skewers from Bengal BBQ over. There were just a couple of kids at the table behind us when we sat down. But more kids ended up joining them to the point where all of their chairs were taken and they were standing between our table and theirs…no room for that. They were bumping Into our chairs, hanging all over our chairs. They literally act like other people are invisible.
However another night we were sitting at that area at DCA in the San Fransokyo area and there were a couple of super nice grads who shared our table with us. Not all are rude, by any stretch of the imagination, but the group at RSR and Tropical Hideaway convinced us that we will avoid grad nights from now on.

We have had that problem in the past with a private party. We did not hear any loud music on our June trip this year.

We were at VGC during Ducks Days earlier this year and they had morning rehearsals and sound checks in DCA, so it ended up being pretty loud in the mornings before park opening on a couple days.

First time we had that issue, though.

When we were there this March they did an early AM rehearsal for a Pixar-themed parade. The property did slip a note under our door the day before to give us a heads up. (we've never had that for either time we have coincided with a Grad Night, so it was a nice touch)

In admin, that usually results in you stepping up for the job of vgc 3.0.

If you make a new one with good FAQ and valid links...mods may allow for it . Go for it!

I can do that. My only concern is what info is wanted/needed and if there are updated links I don’t know of. But I guess the post can be edited to add whatever info… but then so could this first post so maybe that’s easier? (if that person is still active)

Yes, this is the issue - in the distant past (relative to internet forum times, of course), DISboards threads had a technical limit to the number of pages/posts they could contain, so as a matter of course a new one would be started every so often. That's why this thread is titled "2.0." As technology progressed and that limitation disappeared, threads were allowed to grow as they would, and in many cases the OP, the only person able to edit the first post (or more), would leave DISboards with no way to update the beginning of the thread.

Thus the nomination that you should start VGC Lovers Group 3.0 - it's needed, and you asked for it!
