Top 5 things I love about Thanksgiving:
5. Stuffing (or dressing). It's the tastiest thing for the holidays. Thanks to Stove-Top, I can have it year round, but it always tastes better on Thanksgiving.
4. Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Nothing better than the cheesy celebrities lip singing on floats surrounded by dancing snowflakes and candy canes. Plus, giant balloons! Need I say more?
3. The official start of Christmas. I can start playing Christmas music without guilt (although I started early. I feel guilty)
2. Eating without guilt. Diets don't count on Thanksgiving
1. Two days off work
Top 5 things I don't like about Thanksgiving
5. Yams. I don't like them and never will.
4. Traffic. When we travel on Thanksgiving, we always hit traffic.
3. Clean up. I always get stuck washing the dishes and other family members don't respect my need for organized washing. I can't handle someone stealing my wash rag or throwing dirty dishes in my clean soapy water. Just put it aside, and I'll get to it. Oh, and get your own rag.
2. That horrible too- full feeling. When your pants won't button, you've eaten too much.
1. Those awkward family moments when nobody knows what to say and nobody wants to bring up uncomfortable topics.
Just thought I would share!
