The Unofficial Wedding Guide? Help?!?

Hi everyone -

I am trying to plan a wedding at Disney World for next October. I have been trying all day to download the book Disney Weddings: Tying the Knot or Renewing Your Vows at Walt Disney World and it will not let me. I have tried from 3 computers! I even emailed the author.

Any one else have this problem or know where I can get a copy? I am more than willing to pay for it - I am just dying to get my hands on this book.

There were a few brides here in the past who said they had purchased this guide, but that it really wasn't "all that".

I wanted to purchase it too...but then I realized that I could save that money and learn more here!

What are some of the things you are particularly hoping to find out about? I'm sure if you let us know, we can help you out!

I actully emailed the writer and she took the book off the web site because she is updating it for 2007. She will let me know when it is available again and I will let you know.

I purchased the book, and although its nice to have, you can get all the info you need from the Disboards, or on YourFairyTale.com. The author has all the important info on her website. (also, when you print it out, you need LOTS OF PAPER, its a long book).

I purchased the book last summer for my intimate wedding in October 2005; although the book was nice it wasn't as helpful as I thought it would be. It catered to custom brides but offered 'experiences' rather than useful info. Also, DisneyWorld updated their website last year and I actually felt that you could get more information from the website than in the book.

In my personal experience, I gained more information from this board than anywhere else. Just continue to post your questions and us past brides will be willing to get you the answers.

Wow i never even knew there was a Disney Weddings book, i ve often looked out for one but am yet to see one. Although after reading everyones comments am not sure i ll need it now as i can get all the info i need here. Still may be worth looking out for in 2007 if its being re released & updated.
