Anyone else seen Kenny the Pirates newest character rumor roundup today??

Beast – I’ve been hearing chatter that Beast may appear for photo opportunity during dinner ONLY. Beast would not be moving table to table, but he would have a stationary location somewhere in the general dining area. It wouldn’t be billed as “character dining.” I first heard of this from TubaGeek on wdwmagic in July. The all new Be Our Guest Restaurant is said to look amazing. The restaurant will be counter service during the day and serve fine French inspired food in the evening. August 20th is the date to begin booking your dining reservations by phone for November 19th. August 22nd will be the beginning date to book online. (Likely)

On "us" (the global guest "us")? Probably 6 of one, half a dozen of the other.

On the CM's?

7 AM is MUCH easier.

Because they don't have to deal with folks calling at 11:51 and either asking to wait on hold, trying to make ressies, or tying up the CM with questions about OTHER places for 9 minutes until the clock strikes noon.

This way...the phone lines open at 7 and it's first come, first served.

It may crash their phone system...but, hey, that was probably going to happen anyway.

Hmm... maybe I will be trying after all then. It wouldn't be for me, its for my Mom and Dad's trip in December. When it was going live at noon I told them they were on their own (I would be at work) but now that it will be 4am my time I might try... or just sleep in and still let them try. Hay, I booked everything else for them last minute (comparatively) after all!

This sounds like its going to be a repeat of the CRT breakfast fiascos of years back--- I would get thru at 7:01AM, and if I said "Hello", the tables would all be gone !! Then, I remember something about a group of people taking up all of the reservations for friends that posted on their website-

Hoping someone can help me with this question. We are hoping to be at MK on 12/2. The park closes at 7pm because of MVMCP. What is the lastest that you can make reservation if you are not going to MVMCP. Will they allow you to make ressies at say 630ish and leave right after. Not sure how that works. Thanks for the help.

You can (and we have) make a ressie pretty much right up until 6:59 PM.

Then, when you're done, they'll ask that you leave the park and almost (but not quite) escort you out.

Which I had zero problem with, to be clear.

Nope. Lunch is CS so you will stand in line, but no reservations.

The menu looks interesting. There are definetely some things I would like to try for dinner.

Just a tip- Disney will not accept any calls unless it is 7am on the dot so everyone who is trying to get an ADR should be on the phone at 6:59 and if you can't get thru, hang up and keep trying until someone picks up. It wouldn't surprise me if by 7:15, all tables are gone. My fear is hearing a busy signal over and over and that by the time I actually get thru, all tables will be gone.

Also, allears still has incorrect information posted showing that ADR's will become available at Noon. I suspect this will change soon.

That is a bit dire... how would that even be possible? Maybe all tables for a certain day, group size etc but not ALL THE TABLES EVER will be gone in 15 minutes.

I think they mean...over the next 180 days.

Given some of the other things Disney has done like this in the past...it wouldn't surprise me. 7:15 might be quick...but it wouldn't surprise me to see them gone/booked by 7:45 (and anything in November and December...and maybe through January....to be gone/booked by 7:15, easy).

Generally 6:45 is the latest reservation that isn't 7 (and i've heard you cannot make a 7 pm reservation without party tickets). We do the same every year - we make sure one of our MK days is a party day, and we eat right before the party starts. You can stay at dinner as long as you want - you just have to leave the park as soon as you're over. We were at Tony's last year eating and got to see some of the parade, characters, etc out the window.

I mean seriously, this actually STRESSES ME OUT!!!!

I want so desperately to take my DD9 to BOG for dinner. She looks like Belle, she has ALWAYS loved Belle....she's a dancer and did a solo for the first time this past competition season to Tale As Old As Time. We HAVE TO EAT THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have booked NO dinner ressies or even lunch (except at the Plaza which was more to just know I'd have a place to sit on my butt indoors and eat- LOL) for my days at MK. Looks like you are going right after me. I'm going for BOG for either the 24th or 28th. I'll do the 27th if I can get the first time slot, but that's MVMCP night and I hate to use that time (that in effect I'm paying $12 an hour for) to EAT, but I will if it's the only time I can get.
