Sooooooooo when do ADRs open?

I think the guess is the end of August......kind of goes along with what someone was told (Aug 28)....although I will be checking regularly from the 20th on.

Just a quick check-in for you today!

We promised to send all the latest info about the new Be Our Guest Restaurant, opening soon in Disney World's Magic Kingdom! And today we've got some GREAT news!

So, can I please ask a silly question? Who did this email come from? We belong to most lists and even have concierge level reservations for the first week in December and we didn't get any emails. Just trying to figure out what email list we are missing!

Every other site is saying that the previews starting on Nov 19th are just that... a full preview open to the public w/paid admission to MK on those given days. Insiders are expecting all walls to be down minus those for the Mine Train and the M&G over where Snow White used to be. The other sites are all saying to expect the passholder and press previews to be before the 19th and to not rule out the possibility of partial soft openings prior to the 19th if there are any rough spots that need to be tested.

As far as BoG is concerned...nobody seems to be certain if it's going to be open during the preview, but most are assuming it's going to be like Via Napoi and La Hacienda before they accepted ADRs...i.e. it will all be on a walk up basis if it is open in the preview. This is what I'm praying for!

As for crowds...man, I'm scared. Our plans have always put us in MK on Nov 19th. In fact, we have the 8am at BBB that morning and were hoping to be poised for a slight edge getting into Fantasyland. Now I'm thinking about the crush of people who are going to be there that day trying to do the same and hoping that positioning really works to our advantage. We will also be in MK on the 18th of Nov, so hoping to get some last minute details before things go live.

EDIT- sounds like we may actually see ADR booking for BoG by the 19th since this would factor into preview handling.

You can do it the old fashion way ... call Guest Services. I'm sure they can accomodate you while you're there.

Stephanie, when is your MK day? We are making Dec 11th our MK day along with MVMCP that evening. Hoping for a very early dinner ADR at BOG!

We're doing the 13th with party (because of jetlag)... and dessert party hopefully. Should be an awesome day. We'll probably try to get a 5 or 5:30 ressie.

So glad we are going next month. I am sad that I will miss any of the expansion however, surfing through these boards I'm amazed at the number of people that are moving their trips from Sept or Oct to end of Nov and December! For usually slower times I'm thinking it will be crazy then and hopefully even slower than usual in Sept! Guess we will wait until our Feb 2014 trip to see the expansion!

yikes... we leave on Dec 5 but have not purchased plane tickets yet so I just looked at moving Nov 27-Dec 5 to Dec 4-11 and every resort was not showing open ressies just now I thought that was typically a slower week... guess not...
wondering if we will be able to dine at BOG prior to the 6th??? Might call now and try to add the 6th to our ressie but I know flights will be more flying home on a Friday...just my luck to miss it by 1 day!

to PP try the week after. I always go the first week of Dec and saw that the resorts were very crowded. I moved my trip up to December 8th and the availability was tremendous. so i will be there 2 days after the Grand Opening and will ba calling everyday for an ADR at BOG

Wow! I can't believe it's opening sooo late! I'm sorry that so many of you are disappointed.

Does the opening of BOG mean the opening of FLE, or do you think the rest of FLE will open earlier?

DW just got off the phone with a CM (we are booked from 11/22/12- 12/1/12--)

She was told that SOME of the new attractions might be open (limited hrs), but that "BoG" should definitely be open by Thanksgiving- (however, she wasnt sure (or wouldnt say) exactly when ADRs would be taken-

Again, referring back to the FLE thread, it looks like the FLE "preview" will start around Nov 19th and be open to all guests. I'd be shocked if that did not include BOG access...at least for limited hours.

Yup..our "quiet" type trip looks to have just gotten a little busier.

We'll be on property from the 7th til the 15th. Usually, I avoid parks with morning EMH. This time...maybe not.

I am going Dec 12 - 19th and was hoping FLE would open pre Thanksgiving so crowd levels would be closer to normal by the time we got there. Sounds like this week will be busier than I was hoping.

Our current trip is booked for 4 days after BOG and FLE open. I am not changing anything!!! lol I have everything booked including flights.

I don't think they will announce the date that they will begin taking BOG ressies' does anyone else? I think their phone lines would catch fire !!! I think it will quietly appear and the DIS boards will light up.....??!!

Is there a possibility they may let us book according to our trip date - like the 180 day ADR policy to stop the chaos this will cause......
