The unofficial waiting to make Be Our Guest ADRs thread-8/20 7am

There will be an awful lot of hard ticket parties going on when this opens. And TS is just at dinner.

Fess up....... is everyone willing to pay for a party ticket and use party time just to eat here?

Let me be first.......... I AM! :lmao:

I can't remember where I read it, but I had heard that they may have breakfast as Table service for the first few months as well.

That would be very welcome news..... more than anything else just to increase our odds of getting in. They'd be nuts not to. Money is burning a hold in all of our collective pockets. They need to come collect it! :rotfl:

Better save two :thumbsup2 I am betting that this one is going to be a signature dining experience.

You could be right, but I'm hoping it will just be one. It would seem like such a stretch to have it be QS at lunch and Signature at dinner. Everybody think good thoughts on it. :goodvibes The MK needs another good one credit TS restaurant, not another signature, especially with so many signatures right close at the Castle, GF and CR.

I thought I told you that...but I guess my memory is going and I forgot to. :rolleyes1 I told someone...I wonder who?

I have 3 girls and got ressies for Ohanas, Cape May Cafe Clam Bake and Teppan Edo...never been to any of them but DH will be happy.. my mom is going and wasnt excited til she read menus now she is looking forward to it :thumbsup2

My DH loves Cape May Cafe!! It's like his "scooby snack" to get him to come to WDW, and ensures at least one day he will tolerate Epcot! :woohoo: It was his only request for all of our ADRs...The desserts are good, especially the little key lime tarts and the oreo dome things. It's actually a good selection and great quality for a seafood based buffet.

Ah ha! Thank you for the definition. I've been subbing and I didn't even know it!:rotfl:

Obviously, this is really anyone's guess...but I'm thinking 1 credit. I mean, I know we all thought it was a stretch for Le Cellier to go from 1 cred at lunch to signature at dinner and they still did it, but it seems an even greater stretch to go from CS to Signature. Also thinking the seating capacity noted for the space seems too high to be signature. Although, if it does wind up being signature, I'm really hoping for a traditional menu rather than anything buffet, family style, or an all inclusive price.

This is going to sound awful...like I'm not fully dedicated to going to every length possible to dine there :rotfl2:....but I really don't see myself buying tix for MVMCP if that's the only night when I can get an ADR. The party is being held only one night of our trip...and it's our arrival day (and we'll be coming in late afternoon). I just don't see us doing it. I feel awful for thinking this way b/c watch this end up being the only night I can get an adr! I might have to revisit this thought should the time/situation arise! :goodvibes

I don't think so. They say it will be CS at lunch, so I'm guessing it will be standard Table Service.

i have one!

awesome.

Hubby isnt a fan of disney..silly man! So, by the time we ever get back there, all the kinks should be out of the restaurant...

If I waited for hubby to go to WDW with me, I would die without setting foot in Florida. I'm traveling solo this trip. So far. Had a friend go with me in 2010. Have an open invite out to my friends this year too. LOL

I am with you there, I have 2 girls also, I got ressies Ohana and Cape May Clam Bake hoping that would keep him happy, we have never been to either

I got Ohana yesterday and Cape May today. Tomorrow's goal is Tusker House.

Ok- kind of the opposite of the warm fuzzies I was speaking of the other day....but I had another thought about my current ADRs vs. BoG.

I am NEVER...and I mean NEVER happy with my ADRs. I usually change and fine tune for months- often right up until a day or two before we leave. I did my ADRs for this trip about a week and a half ago- and I spent a little over a week fine tuning some things- OK, well alot of things :lmao:-but the scary thing...I like my ADRs! I even tried to shift something a hair yesterday and I found myself saying to myself "why are you changing this? It's just fine." I have never been so satisfied with my ADRs. It terrifies me!!! :scared: :rotfl2:

Why is this relevant??? B/C I'm taking it as a sign that BoG is going to open in time for my dates and I'm going to have to move Heaven and Earth to try and make everything work around whatever I can get. Ok- more like a blessing and curse...but still. Wouldn't this be the way- for once I like my ADR line up- times, dates and restaurants- and something so special like this could come along and derail ADR "perfection." :rotfl: Oh well- I'm taking it as a sign. :goodvibes

Why does this sound familiar?????? :thumbsup2

And since ADRs open up at THREE FREAKIN AM my time, I need to go get 3.5 hours of shut eye..... LOL

nner.

Me too! :cool1:

I sure hope that it is just one. I never thought the food at the Castle was worth 2 credits but with a little girl who though that all of the Princesses were her friends we had to go ( Okay, I was a Princess stalker too :upsidedow) although we paid OOP. I agree that a good 1 credit TS restaurant is badly needed!

He he...Im considering paying for a MK admission for first 1/2 day if I can't get an ADR of the other days (we only have 2, visiting family the rest of the week). My daughters are teens and missed when the whole Princess cash in was started by Disney...they were too old when Bibbity Bobbobity Botique started ( though they have a theme song for it...goes to the tune of the "BBB" song:

" Saligadula, part with your moolah, Bibbity boppity boo...")

They still love Princesses, so they really want BOG, and they will be 18 and 15;)

Question for anyone...their 19 yo cousin who lives in FL also loves Princesses; and has a particular affection for Belle...is it possible for me to make the ADR for more than my party size? I'm thinking I could invite her to come meet us with a friend ( I know she'd have to pay her admission unless she has an FAP, which she may)

I thought I told you that...but I guess my memory is going and I forgot to. :rolleyes1 I told someone...I wonder who?

Well, I'll forgive you......... as long as you don't forget to tell me if you hear the ADRs are open! :lmao:

We'll be there 8 days and there are parties on 4 nights. Of course it would be ideal to get in right before a party, but I'm guessing those will go first. So I do expect the pickings to be slim.

I NEVER spend party time eating and don't understand anyone paying $60 for party ticket only to spend a big chunk of the evening in a restaurant. But this time I'm willing to do what it takes!

" Saligadula, part with your moolah, Bibbity boppity boo...")

That's adorable!
