It seems to me that people keep posting all the rehabs and rumors of rehabs and it gets confusing. so I got all the info from a few of the more reliable sites and put it all right here so you can get a comprehensive look at all the rehabs going on....

8/24-9/19: FOTLK @ AK source: wdwig.com
8/25-11/19: BTMRR @ MK source: disneyworld.com
9/7-10/24: SFRTreehouse @ MK source: disneyworld.com
9/14-11/17: Animation @ MGM source: disneyworld.com
9/6-9/14: RnRC @ MGM source: a few WDW sites
9/5-9/21: TOT only one side @ MGM source: a few WDW sites
9/22-9/26: TOT full close@ MGM source: few WDW sites

So there you have it. In one place....:D Remember unless listed by the official WDW site, rehabs are just rumors and should be treated as such. But you should also be prepared just in case......

Oh, thank you so much for posting this!!!! I look on Deb's site and the WDW site, I never rely on rumors. Heck anyone can start one of those.

I know theres an abbreviation link somewhere out there can someone direct me to it? Thanks!

Festival of the Lion King
Big Thunder Mtn Railroad
RockNRollercoaster
Tower of Terror
:D

Thank you!

We will be affected by SFRtreehouse and Animation and by the one side closing of TOT but I guess out of the overall picture that's not too bad. I was worried that we would be missing a lot more.

Although I'll be missing Big Thunder, I'm glad the rumors I've heard about the Studios don't appear to be as bad as first feared (with both RnRC and ToT down at the same time and ToT down completely from the end of September through October).

One thing not on the list, mgmstudios.org says ToT will be back down to one side from Sept 27 through the end of October. It is good to see that the total shut down will be (or at least is scheduled to be) less than one week.

How accurate do rehab schedules tend to be, as far as time frames? For example, if TOT is scheduled to be closed from 9/22 to 9/26, is Disney pretty good about getting the attraction back up by the scheduled dates... or is there a good chance it could be down for even longer?

I have to say that all of these rehabs are getting me down as I will be there Sept 7-14. I just sent disney an email suggesting that when they close a ride for only one week, why couldn't they do it Wednesday to Wednesday - that way guests can work around it and it doesn't coincide exactly with mosts guests stays (sat to sat, sun to sun). If anyone else is going during this time, maybe if enough people send an email with a suggestion, they just might do it (not that hopeful, but maybe a little). I don't see why it would matter if they started on a saturday or a wednesday.:D

I'm with you on that, kj&zb'smom! My wife and I will be down from Sept. 6th through the 13th (Saturday to Saturday) and it will really irk me if RnR Coaster is closed during the entire week. Like you said, if they started on a Wednesday it would seem to affect less people. I've come to terms with the fact that BTMRR is going to be closed (It's one of my favorite rides) but if RnR is closed for just the week I'm there I don't know if I can handle it. I'm a stockholder... maybe they'll listen to an email from me. Yeah right!

Most people who work on rehabs--mechanics, electricians, painters, etc--are union workers and don't usually work weekends. For shorter rehabs it makes more sense to do the bulk of the work continuously rather than break the work up with a weekend.

Remember, unless posted on the official WDW site, the rehabs posted are just rumors. Although some come from generally reliable WDW sites, like this one.

Rock 'n' Roller Coaster's rehab is now official. It's on disneyworld.com:

"Rock 'N' Roller Coaster will be closed for refurbishment
September 6 - September 16."
