OK here's what I was thinking in regards to DIS-Meets: And by these DIS-meets I talking more about the type where you enjoy a drink/snack and chat for a while....not the "drive by" type.

I'm most likely going to be free Monday (2/28) evening. We'll be at DTD for dinner. So I can DIS-meet there that night OR I can travel somewhere (non-park) to have a meet.

On Thursday (3/3) our plans are to have dinner at the POLY at 515pm, take a monorail ride and watch Wishes from the beach at the Poly. So if anyone wants to join us at any point....cool. (Kat are you flying out Th or Fri ??)

And then I was thinking of a ladies only DIS-Meet for Friday night at Epcot for Illuminations and EMH. Brooke this is probably really only for you because Wings and Kat will be gone and Amy is off-site and can't do attractions for EMH (bummer).

I would love to be part of all of those but unfortunately I don't think I should schedule any DIS-meets that aren't of the drive-by variety... With two girls only trips prior to our family vacation, I think I should dedication my full attention to the family.

If anyone is interested in a drive-by or Wishes/Illuminations DIS-meet here is my schedule:

Sunday 2/27 - check-in day/AK afternoon
Monday 2/28 - Epcot
Tuesday 3/1 - MK - staying for Wishes
Wednesday 3/2 - DHS
Thursday 3/3 - resort am/Epcot evening - staying for Illuminations
Friday 3/4 - AK am/DHS pm (this day isn't set in stone)
Saturday 3/5 - Epcot am/MK pm - staying for MSEP
Sunday 3/6 - departure day - kids choices for parks

I hope I get to see you Heidi & I hope I get to meet some new DISers in person too!!

Ever been stuck in the mud and the suction is so great your shoe starts to pull off every time you move? So you get stuck in one spot and you can't figure out how to get out of the mud no matter how hard you try to get up on the grass.

That's my life right now. I've got a million and one things to get done but I can't seem to get anything done. And we won't even go into the details of the new health insurance problems that we have...sort of a big deal when your kid has Autism and he goes to therapy 2x week.

Oh and my FIL was in the hospital all last week. He's home now so that's good.

Then there is this computer that is horribly slow....so slow that I can't easily quote and comment on my own PTR or on the PTRs and TRs of my DIS friends....sorry ladies! I'm reading along but I can't comment most of the time.

I have taken pictures and uploaded them to photobucket for my next update....let's hope I can get an update up soonish...

In Disney news: I have been working on my daily trip plans so that's a good thing. Plus I think I have nailed down our dining plans. But then I had a mini panic attack the other day when I realized all the other stuff I have to do for our vacation. Packing lists, shopping lists, sorting out things to take with us. I haven't even changed my ressie yet to CSR...UGH! At this point I think I'll wait to see if Disney offers room only discounts coming up around Nov 21st.

And does anyone else have Toy Story 3 showing in your living room EVERYDAY??? lol

Sending pixie dust that you get yourself out of the mud soon! I know what you mean about the trip planning... I usually wait until after Christmas to start focusing on our Disney trips... but we usually go at the end of April! I'm two months behind this year - which is a good thing becaue there's less time to wait but a bad thing when it comes to being an obsessive planner!

Let's "talk" about the other stuff you have going on!! I'm going to send you an email now!!

Part Four
Serenity Now!
A Look at Disney-area Spas

The next section in the Unofficial Guide is about Spas. I won’t be going to the spa during this trip, haven’t been to a Disney area spa before, and have no plans to go to one in the future. Wow that was a quick update!

Just kidding….. Instead I thought I would share some pre-Disney shopping with you. Highlights of what I have gotten for Danica for the trip, and a couple shirts that I got for Liam and me.

Danica will need a whole new wardrobe for our Disney trip and for next summer since she’s 1 ½ and out growing her clothes every 6 months or so. I scored really, really well for her at the end of this summer picking up things on the discount racks. I paid $2 - $3 for most things and nothing was over $5. I still need to get her a bathing suit and a new pair of Crocs. I’ll have to wait and see if Liam needs new Crocs too, and he might need a couple new t-shirts.

These are just the highlights – she has a ton of outfits for the trip!

I actually got this for her in October when I was at WDW….she has never worn it. White. Really. I got a toddler WHITE. I need my head examined.

Her fancy yellow skirt ($2) can be worn as Snow White

Her pink fancy skirt can be worn with a tank top

Or a t-shirt

I have a pair of shorts that are the exact same color as the pink skirt to wear under it, and I’ll bring a pair of leggings too if it’s cooler out.

I got the following t-shirts online at the Disney store a few months ago.

Mother and daughter Tink shirts!

And a couple shirts for Liam….they are a bit big for him so I hope they shrink some in the dryer.

Plus I have a ton of stuff that I brought for the car ride to and fro. Little toys and such. I’ll have to take pictures of it to show you. I had to put it away months ago and call it done because I just kept on buying stuff. I know I need glow sticks but I can’t think of anything else….yet…..
