Have you looked at the FW cabins at all?

They aren't for everyone but it's a TON more space than any of the other mods but not as pricey as the deluxes. And the kids would have their own beds (or Danica in one of the bunks and LIam . Just a thought. Still double beds but more beds in total plus a kitchen, dining table, couch...

We really enjoyed them. A very different experience than a traditional resort.

I'm trying to figure out what to do on my park ticket for may. I have a one day pass that I'll be upgrading. The may trip is only 5 days. Considering upgrading it to the full meal deal non expiring but then not sure how that would work for a future trip when it's not enough days for that trip....but it would give me all those extra water park days which would be cool.

Not sure what to do.

The the Cabins don't really thrill me in general and for this trip I want to be more centrally located. We're going to Typhoon Lagoon 2 days and more dinners are planned for the Epcot resort area then near MK. I'll have to stay there one day...if only to check it off the list

I would only upgrade your ticket to the loaded baked potato IF you plan on using the park tickets for another "solo" trip...doesn't have to be planned now but with the plan that's what it's for. Having different park tickets than the rest of the family is a pain in the rump. Of course it would be good to have the water park tickets even for a family vacation because that's just money that you would save from buying yourself the water park option on new tickets.

Tough call on where to stay... Do the DVC studios have kitchenettes? That would be a big plus if you can find a good deal.

They do... and the studios at OKW are spacious (390 sq feet) and recently refurbed! Two Queen beds, kitchenette, small patio or balcony (nice if you and hubby want to sit and talk after kids are asleep.) Bldgs 62-64 have elevators... very helpful with strollers, etc.

And this is Perry

We adopted them on Saturday from our local Humane Society....they have over 200 cats right now! It took us 2 hours to decide on which cats to help and adopt.

Danica is in love with Finn...she is so cute with him. Finn is my cuddle bug already....I can blame my typos on him now as he likes to lay by the mouse and keyboard. Perry is taking longer to get used to his new house....many times during the day I'm saying "Where's Perry?"

Thanks everyone for your comments on the kitties! They are adjusting quite well. Perry is getting used to the dog and moving about the house with more ease now. Finn has found a couple spots in Liam's room that he likes to hide/sleep in and he's my lovebug at night...likes to snuggle and watch tv with me after the kids go to bed.

Big props to all of you that figured out the cats are named after the Phineas and Ferb show.
