... who're yours? Who gets space in your Ipod despite zero fame? Here are a few I have found wandering the back alleys in NYC (ok maybe just perfectly nice bars with nights devoted to up-and-coming musicians ... mom said no going in back alleys in the big city, ha). I'd like to learn about your favorites. I'm looking for new inspiration here as I download ...
I love
Sean Cox - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YBee9WP5xU4 - if you're tied to the military at all, you'll be moved by the song ...
Lelia Broussard - incredibly catchy and infectious
Casey Stratton - grossly underappreciated, interesting countertenor voice, plays an incredible piano. Very magnetic.

They came to Cedar Rapids back in June to play at Floodstock, which is a festival we have locally to raise money for people affected by the big flood back in June 08. They were AWESOME. Not just the music, but they all get into costume - tight pants, big hair, the whole she-bang. I've seriously never had so much fun at a concert.
