How many pairs of LA Gear shoes did you have? Did you weave the multi-colored laces?

I must have my garbage pail kids somewhere. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Remember candy cigarettes and Bazooka bubble gum?

I only had one pair of LA Gear shoes. I did have one pair of those multi-colored laces, but I never used them!

Garbage pail kids? I don't remember that!! I only remember Cabbage Patch kids. How'd I miss out on that?

Yup, I remember the candy cigarettes and Bazooka gum. :thumbsup2

I used to love the old Looney Tunes cartoons too. I wish they'd put them back on again.

Did you do that thing where you folded over your pant leg, then rolled them up so they'd be really tight? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Why did we do that? I was so envious of the girls who could do that big straight up curl thing with the bangs.:confused3 I wish they'd bring back the hyprecolor shirts too. I loved those!!!!!!!!

Yes, I did do that sometimes!! :rotfl2: I don't know why. I guess we did it because everyone else was. The 80s can keep the curl thing and the hypercolor shirts!!! Sorry! :lmao:

I loved Saturday and Sunday cartoons, too! Heck, I STILL watch cartoons on the Boomerang channel. :rotfl:

That Beverly Hills cartoon that you were talking about sounds vaguely familiar. Oh, it's bugging me now!! I've gotta go look that up.

Did your Baskin Robbins have the sundaes in the baseball helmets during baseball season? We always fought over who got what teams.

Sweet! Thanks for the link!!

I don't remember the baseball helmets at Baskin Robbins. I didn't really go there very often. I usually went to TCBY or one of the other local ice cream shops. I loved Daves Ice Cream and Yami Yogurt. I think that they only have those two in Hawaii, though.

BR used to be right down the street so we would ride our bikes there. Oh the horror! We rode our bikes on our own. With no helmets! :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: We even had to ride through the cemetery to get there! :sad2: How did we make it out alive?

Remember station wagons and the "way back"?:rotfl: :rotfl: It was so cool to sit in the "way back".

What's the Boomerang channel? I may have to go look that up.

It's a cable channel that shows a lot of classic cartoons like Popeye, The Jetsons, Scooby Doo, etc. Fortunately, it was included with all of our cable channels!! Here's the website.

Have fun! By the way, do they still sell pudding pops? I usually don't buy popsicles and stuff, so I haven't even looked at that part of the freezer section in years.

Remember this commercial? We used to make fun of this.

Oh, before I go, are any of the hotties coming over tomorrow?
