Hey, Honu!! Yeah, I like your book suggestion! I've seen parts of the movie when it came on TV and it looked pretty interesting. Sorry, for not commenting on this earlier. I've been kinda distracted by Rora's wedding (and the smilie changes--ugh!!).


Gosh, it has been a while since we last chatted. We gotta catch up! So.....how's life? How's it going in Vancouver?

There's a big ball in the sky, I'm not sure what it is! It's very bright and there seems to be heat coming from it!

I'm doing a mega testing blitz so maybe I can get the endo to approve surgery so that's kind of taking over my life.

My parents are leaving tomorrow which means I get to eat Burgerville 3 times a day for a whole week! Woohoo! Burgerville is the BEST fast food burgers bar none around here. There isn't one up where I live, so I have to get my fill down here.

I think I'm going to go get a massage this week too. I love those or maybe a facial, I haven't decided yet.

The dogs are keeping me busy too.

What are you up to?

I think since you're President, you can make the executive decision on our first book for the book club!

I miss my old smileys on here. The new ones aren't as good. I miss my "woohoo" and a few others. Like my dancing banana.

I will make no executive decisions of any kind. I'm not the president of this club. (Thank goodness, too! That's too much responsibility for me!) Julez is our thread mommy and shall call the shots. We'll probably end up voting on a book anyway. It looks like almost everyone is on board for the SOTTP book.


As for me, I am currently mourning over the loss of my favorite smilies on the convenient smilie list. I think that I shall pay tribute to them. Oh, and I miss the dancing banana, too!!

It's about the Bielski's who were a Jewish family in Belorussia in WW2. Their parents were killed and they took to hiding in the woods. Soon other Jews came to hide with them. They built camps and stuff and hid from the Germans. They lasted 3 years? I believe, I think just until the war ended or close to it. It was incredible. Daniel Craig (James Bond) is in it.

There are no White castle places here, but we can get the frozen kind at the store. It's not as good as the fresh ones, but it's better than nothing. I scrape off all of the onions, though. I thought of another book if we wanted to read a mystery, Jeffrey Archer, Not a Penny More, Not A Penny Less. It's really good! Lots of twists and turns.
