I decided to have a go at this today. I know the question about plurals has been raised, but what about words which end with 's? Let's take 'hat' as an example. We can score two words by adding an s and making it hats (i.e. more than one hat). Can we score another word by adding 's and making it hat's (e.g. as in 'the hat's brim was orange')?

I'm hoping not, but I'm aware that some entries are already in.

Are you using a particular dictionary to decide if a word is valid? I am just wondering because is slang still slang when it gets in a proper dictionary? And I can think of words that are proper words but may be considered vulgarity - I guess I am not sure where to draw the line!

If we are unsure should we leave them in and let you decide whether or not you want to count them?

I don't want to send mine in yet because more words keep popping into my head - it's completely addictive!

I used Official Scrabble Dictionary as my guide, but I'm sure the quiz master will arbitrate from what ever source she deems necessary
